The servers are back up now. If you are still receiving the "Servers are down for maintenance" messages when attempting to log in, please try clearing your console cache. Here is a guide on how to do so: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539

what should I do if I keep getting the "ATENTION: Contacting Destiny Servers" & getting every error code in the game? and please don't tell me it's my internet connection cause I've resetted my modem & router like a million times & I even tried playing other online games & they worked just fine... my problem is only with Destiny!
