Title says it all. Leave your thoughts.
Edit: I don't care about the specific emotes. I don't want them. But them making the most wanted ones, which were requested by the community, require you to buy them for real money. That's a real middlefinger to all the community members.
It is so incredibly pathetic that people think I am upset because I can't afford it. That is the dumbest thing people can say about stuff like this. Shows the lack of intelligence just perfectly.
Edit 2:
I am honestly stunned by the amount of stupid comments like "lol I got 'em. u mad?" or "stop whining You Child".
But I'm happy there are some normal people out there that aren't blind and immediatly offended if you say something against optional microtransactions.
-
I sense a butt hurt summoning
-
Can someone summon Butt hurt please we need hes presence
-
They are expensive because they are completely optional mini dlcs meant to support the devs making the game for free now. (Just don't buy the emotes and, oh shit, it's free.) Or you buy them because you like the emote, it's not supposed to be a good deal or a bargain.
-
You should be mad about the fact that it doesn't take the place of your normal dance. (It doesn't, does it?)
-
it's five bucks bro. yeah, bungie are greedy. BUT THE DANCE IS AWESOME (throws money)
-
If you really want the slow clap. Dont spend the free silver you got.. Wait for the next "free doze".
-
Most wanted = most expensive. The good ones cost 200 anyway
-
I bought every single emote
-
Then dont buy any silver? I dont get whats wrong with a business putting in micro.
-
8 RepliesIt's a business. They're not here to give you everything for free. The goal is to make money. Why can't you people grasp that and accept it for what it is. That's how this world works
-
1 ReplyThe Carton dance it worth the silver, the clap however shocked me a little. Oh well, thankfully no one is holding me at gun point and I was brought up with free will.
-
Edited by Project Atom: 10/14/2015 10:51:49 AMThe Carton dance is worth the 500 Silver.
-
7 RepliesI Agree with you buddy, just saw Tess and saw that the 2 emotes that the community requested is 500 silver. That is bullshit, bungie wouldn't have even thought of that if it wasn't for the community, and out of every emote they are the legendary ones which you can't get for free. -blam!- you bungie.
-
I'm with you man we paid $40 for Each one of the dlc's where we got new exotics, quest, weapons and gear but they want $5 for a legendary emote. So for 9 legendary dances that u can't even use in combination you could get TTK quality dlc Lol and yet ppl still defend Bungievision gotta love it
-
It's only $5. Yeah, I've heard the "but if we keep buying overpriced DLC, they'll keep charging that much" argument before, but what are we going to do about it? Either we rally up enough people to boycott overpriced DLC (which is a lot of people to make a difference), or keep complaining. If people want to pay that much, that's up to them, and if others think it's too much, just don't buy it. It's the principle of the matter, but in all honesty, it doesn't cost that much.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Iji The Killer: 10/14/2015 9:18:48 AMIt's actually smart marketing. They gave you enough silver to buy two emotes and left you just shy of getting the two legendary emotes by 100 silver. Now if you want one of them you have to buy at least the basic $5 package. If you want both it will cost you $10 and leave you with 100 silver just sitting in your inventory taunting you to buy more silver.

1 ReplyMy favourite is the golf swing aha
-
1 ReplyI bought every emote #noregrets
-
6 RepliesI only have two things to say to this.... 1. FIFA ultimate team..... How many ppl brought the card packs to play this part of the game.... Probably everyone that owned it!!! 2. COD..... Anyone else buy the map packs..... I bet you did. If you don't want to spend your money that's fine but bungie isn't doing anything new or evil. I spent £40+ on the Fifa card packs and only put about 50 hours into the game. I have now spent 500+ hours playing destiny so spending another £5-10 ain't gonna hurt....... "Presses up on d-pad" "SLOW CLAP"
-
The Carlton emote cost me $7:25. Thankfully I had cash in my PS wallet that I hadn't used for a while. But that will be it, no more cash on emotes.

Edited by Nashtalia: 10/14/2015 10:14:01 AMbing rewards and xbox rewards. yesssssss?
that's how i got $6 on my xb account
-
They know ppl want it.. Can you blame em
-
Guys... these are just emotes, whatever just go back and play the game. If they were selling 310 black spindle that would be something to be outraged about. Who cares if you cant clap slowly there are better rare emotes in my opinion which bungie gave 2 to choose from. However I would definitely throw money at my screen if i can have my warlock have gandalf's... or even better, gimli's beard or something of the sorts.
-
Word of advise.. Don't use offencive language when trying to put across your opinion.. You do just come across as a cry baby kid. But about your post after trying to get over the heaps of salt. They are introducing these to help find the live team to get constitant rolling updates to keep content fresh. But doing so you now want them to give you the most sorry after items for free? Are you the same child that crys about the content or previous lack of? If you want this game to be great this is the right step to keep out going
-
They didn't have to give you any FREE silver just be grateful they did and stop whining like a bitch
-
1 ReplyYou've only played as a Titan and I'm lacking intelligence.. Who cares about emotes? If you want them buy them. Personally I'm thrilled the most Wanted emotes cost real money to buy, guess what? That's paying for your next dlc dumdum. So go buy it so I can have my next big raid.
