Edit: I don't care about the specific emotes. I don't want them. But them making the most wanted ones, which were requested by the community, require you to buy them for real money. That's a real middlefinger to all the community members.
It is so incredibly pathetic that people think I am upset because I can't afford it. That is the dumbest thing people can say about stuff like this. Shows the lack of intelligence just perfectly.

But I'm happy there are some normal people out there that aren't blind and immediatly offended if you say something against optional microtransactions.

So I Buy a 80 Dollar game and then it gets rid of the emotes and you have to pay real money for the same moves you used to have. BULL SHIT. I am pretty close to quitting this game.

I heard that these buyable emotes will in turn pay for FREE expanded content later down the road...? Now that may be good, or it may be stupid. I would rather just pay for DLC than these dumb emotes. I agree that making something like an emote cost $5 is absurd, but think about it, there are tools out there who WILL pay for it. It wouldn't be so bad if for your $5 they would give you an emote pack that contained two new dances, three new gestures, etc. But $5 for the Carlton?? WTF? I agree that it's not that we can't afford the $5, it is the point of it. What else are they going to start charging the players for? It's only a matter of time before they offer some new, must have ships that are $5 a piece. That would be ridiculous because the ship is nothing but a glorified loading screen. I'd just make all the emotes 500 and give 500 silver per account. In that case you'd still have to spend money if you wanted another one and the people who think that buying the emotes makes them superior would spend even more money, the morons.

Yet again Bungie show their contempt for there customers. Nickle and dime everyone to death. This on top of half a game for full price. Minor dlc for full price and a slightly larger dlc for full price that REMOVES content for those people who refuse to buy it. Why is anyone suprised.

It actually makes sense. The ones they believe most people want they make unattainable without paying. Then they give you enough for two other free emotes. This way people can try out new emotes and give them the money required to make content all in one fell swoop. Plus, it is a good test to see whether or not people are willing to spend money for the emotes that they really want.

I agree I don't think it is worth is to pay 5 dollars for your character to dance a different way in a video game but I do think they are cool.

I see people wasting money on fast food and snacks every week. It could be $20 to $40 or more every week. That adds up. How is spending a few extra dollars on a video game a greater autrocity? Keep things in perspective. People waste more money on discretionary spending (food/entertainment) than we will ever waste on Destiny.

They gave u 400 free silver...it cost 500 for the "clap" right ?....well bungie mentioned there are ways you can earn silver in game...sooo if u want that sooooo bad u keep ur 400 and earn the 100 for it...Problem solved.
