How come my friends can still play destiny but I can't due to maintenance
My friends are still currently doing the kings fall raid but I can't even login due to maintenance. Why?

I believe you don't get booted if you are in a specific area. I was in the tower while this happened awhile ago, and I just stayed there with my friends and waited it out. Another friend got stuck.

It didn't kick me till I ended my activity.
