6 exotics in 2 weeks? Damn. I got that in 4 days. The trick with the new ones is patience. Use ONE three of coins every 2-4 hours and kill a strong boss. You can kill Atheon, PoE bosses etc. The stronger they are the better the chance. Bungie said it themselves. They won't be effective if used fast.

The timer is an unofficial 15 minutes or a character change. This was how it was designed, for use in the strike list with 15 miutes between bosses.

The info I provided is not official, its not accurate, but its my experience with it, and I don't mind waiting for almost guaranteed exotics. I try to share what I find out, I just hope what I wrote helps
