Touch of malice quest line a waste of time
Spend a whole day finding calcified fragments just to get a mediocre scout rifle like 5% of players have. Best part is 310. I infused into a better scout rifle that does more damage, "more bullets", and less recoil. Touch of malice in reality has 10 bullets and you burn through so fast and do little damage. I know the fan boys out there that like it. Oh it has unlimited ammo. You are a scrub if you don't have it. How you gonna do hard raid? I bet the touch of malice will be useless in hard raid. Your probably not gonna have that bubble to protect you. The hard raid will be harder then orginal and the orginal isn't hard. So have fun getting a mediocre scout rifle. Incoming butthurt touch of malice scrubs. Idk if you know but you can touch of malice off the wall and infuse. But I'm the dumb one who made his all time gun 310. when 295 touch of malice dps on oryx the same as 310.

For now its a good weapon, if hard raid comes out we will see. Just play the game and dont think to much.

It's mainly good for daughters and Oryx. Wait till hard raid when it's going to be a "must have" in lfg.

If you're a raider it's basically a requirement to have it. I wouldn't say a waste of time, it's not like you have to upgrade it to see the benefits of having it. It makes the daughters and oryx a complete breeze. I also used it to get my zhalo to 310, then bought another and got it back to 300.

It's very situational, amazing for parts of the raid where you're invincible. I kept one just for the raid, infused the other two 310's.

It is nasty you just have to know when to use it and not just fire bullets everywhere it takes skill to use, but damn can it be awesome

11 RepliesFalse. Your scout does much less damage than TOM. TOM is basically an infinite last round with a dash of red death. It's a very situational gun that's not just a point and shoot style. You have to think before you shoot. Definitely worth it, also the quest was easy. Got mine in about two separate play times.

1 Replymentioning the hard raid that theres no bubble is not true the thing they will put on hard raid is that u can't res youre teammates,more adds and prolly shields. so like everyone else said ToM is situational. gudluck

It would have to have the invulnerability shield, otherwise you'd die from the sisters or the corrupted light explosions. Really, making the hard raid impossible would be a bit silly.

I don't like it but i use it for only 2 situations. Daughters and oryx. It seems that's what it was made for. Its the best weapon by far for those two encounters besides the black spindle. It's a situational exotic, like the SS, and queens bow, etc...

You will have the bubble to protect you in hard mode. It's required to survive the explosion from the corrupted light.

That bubble you mention that might not be there in hard will most definitely be there! as if you hadnt noticed once collecting your black orbs after making oryx flinch, if you was to not enter that bubble again you'd be killed instantly (try it) so the bubble is most definitely going to be there. And considering that it will, then a gin with unlimited ammo for ads and oryx while in there would most likely be the desired gun. Also what gun do you know off that does extra damage for the cost of your life? Oh on reloading too haha oh and your second character is on lvl 5, this is quality ...dumb Ness at its finest! And consider ToM does more damage than your scout rifle, your gun will be of no use in the hard raid if "tom isnt" So your wrong and I hope you get a raid team :) you might want to get onto another character and get another ToM

Funny how when I use that gun I always do more damage then every one else in my fire team.
