Longing for Elongation
The Multiplayer Map Pack is nearly upon us and to help prepare you for battle we'll be taking a closer look at each of the upcoming new maps. This week we explore the cramped corridors of Elongation, the succesor to Halo 1's Longest.

Try IGN for some awesome vids of the new maps: http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/742/742121/vids_1.html Take the smaller version, cause for the bigger one you need a membership. If you download em, press download(again, the smaller version), then you get a new window, you get some kind of clip(wait for that to end) and the right click save as. Hope this helps. God that train looks deadly.

This rock sooooooooooo much 5 more maps and others just got realesed not to long ago. And i love longest in the first halo tkx bungie for bringing it back.

Hey that is a really great map but..u really need to think and spend time on hang um high that was the best map on halo 1 me and everyone i have talked to agree and i hope that u guys think the same...and make it even better on halo 2....so keep this in mind we all have high expections so i hope its better than the first thanks! NismoXx

you are so lucky you went to e3 and played it. anyways, i think that a fun gametype on that map would be a crazy game type i like to call zoo. Start with sword and brute shot. everyone has 3 lives. 6 rounds. 3 minutes each. Covenant weapons on map. Damage resistant. no radars. oh yeah. zoo. that sounds like some extreme fun on that map. But if backwash has that dinosaur killing first person shooter type fell, with all the high catwalks above the swamp, i have a felling it's going to be even better. or is that relic im thinking of. Watever. I cant wait :D !

It looked cool at E3. I noticed the players who did the best stayed out of the bottom conveyor area - kept to the side passages and 2nd level. Its a cool map! btw- the reason I say that, is when *I* played the map, I stayed on the conveyor belt and got my a$% handed to me [Edited on 6/10/2005]

I love the close ranged maps! This could be the level that makes me tune my sensitivity back up to 9 which is probably the worse decision i ever made because it made me a horrible sniper. Oh well i guess I'll have to stick to having a 5 for sensitivity until this is released. This update should be the best thing in my life until the release of the xbox360... (I hope that halo 2 can be played on the 360 and also have the updates ofcoarse)
