Untouched in the crucible, I'm not even that good a sniper and it makes me 10x better

The sound alone makes it the best sniper

1 ReplyI've never been a fan of this whole sniper fad. It's okay to use other specials, it doesn't make you any less skilled. it doesn't matter what the guy who's trying to pull off no-scopes for his montage says. Anyway, never used that sniper.

3 RepliesEdited by Afawafa: 10/14/2015 12:57:35 PMMed to Low impact snipers are quite underrated really. Let's be real here, most of your sniper kills aren't going to be ress snipes unless you're going against a team of complete idiots who ressurect their ally 5 times in a row while you're prescoping their orb. They're going to be shots on unshielded, unsupered guardians. Against such targets, low and mid impact snipers are superior due to their higher RoF and handling. When having a sniper fight against another similarly skilled enemy sniper, high RoF snipers provide an alternative option to win, going for the double bodyshot. Aiming at a larger target(body) will always be slightly quicker than aiming at a smaller target(head). That small difference could allow you to get off the first shot. While it will not instantly kill your enemy, it will disrupt his aim. If he was aiming directly at your head when you hit him, the flinch will make him miss his shot. You end up in a highly advantageous situation where your enemy is slightly disoriented and panicked. In order to kill you, he has to regain his composure, compensate for the random major flinch, re-aim at a small target and he still has to wait a split second before his sniper can fire again. In order for you to kill him, all you have to do is to aim for a large target that's already near your reticle(assuming you have decent stability). If your enemy reacts quickly and ducks behind cover, it gives you the opportunity to change your position or toss a grenade to finish him. If he pops back out, he has no idea where you've moved to, but you know exactly where he's going to be.

1 ReplyDoesn't matter if it can't res snipe, which it can't
-
4 RepliesYep. Same aim assist as famous shadow of veils. It makes sniping as easy as shotgunning. But you should see the year 2 iron banner sniper. 85 aim assist. To put that into perspective, it has 85 aim assist compared to defiance and shadow's 69 (no joke) aim assist.
-
I prefer my Custom Efrideets Spear.
-
Its really good. Best scope in the game IMO.
-
2 RepliesI once had a girlfriend named Yasmin. She was a defiant bitch.
-
Sorry guys but iron banner has fully written my statement into stone
-
1 Replyit just wont res snipe in trials but other than that yea its like the old Praedyths Revenge right? i was always told start with that to get better back in Year 1
-
6 RepliesEirene RR4 with luck in the chamber.
-
1 ReplyNot gonna say it's bad but if you're looking for a PvP sniper, get a 1000 yard stare or eirene RR4 (I think that's what it's called). High enough impact to revive snipe in trials, skirmish
-
5 RepliesI still haven't had the warpriest drop me anything in 13 kills so
-
6 RepliesThe only raid weapon I want...
-
1 ReplyBump this lads
-
1 ReplyAgreed
-
2 RepliesIt's aim assist is higher than the shadow of aim assist.. That explains why you are not a retard with it
-
19 RepliesEdited by Feral Goose: 10/14/2015 2:59:07 PMIt 1 shot headshots sunbreakers in IB, the quickscoping on it is unreal, it fires like a scout which helps correct a misfire, it is a headshot machine. Anyone who debates this must not have one. (Keep in mind, light and weapon level is taken into consideration)
-
I'm loving the RR4 but I want that one.
-
7 RepliesNot enough impact, the 1000 yard stare is better
-
infused it was hard decision but now shot packagers are sniping with double body shot
-
It's not often that people claim Med-impact snipers are the best
-
Good luck in Trials with that mate.
-
Can't one shot off of res so no its not.

1 ReplyUntouched you say? I'm sorry to hear that.. Perhaps hit up some local bars or a nightclub? Good luck out there.
