The problem with that is that not everybody knew about the farming glitch, hell I wasn't aware until I found this thread this afternoon, had I known I'd have done it but I didn't. What they need to do is what everybody else is suggesting, remove everything besides the fragment and re-enable the event until a fix is found, because cutting off the Touch of Malice quest line is about as ignorant as Bungie could get.
