Tips for a new girl gamer?
I just started playing destiny and I was wondering if anybody had any tips for crucible.

5 RepliesYes. Stop with the "girl gamer" stuff. You're a gamer simple as that. I don't say "white gamer", " black gamer", or "christian/atheist/muslim gamer". Sounds pretty stupid, doesn't it? We're glad to have another gamer join the fellowship. It can be the best most welcoming and loyal group of people ever. Just beware there are plenty of s**tbags also.

I recommend that you keep working at your quests and get that character to 290 light at least before you ask for a team. As far as weapons go I suggest a high impact low rate of fire pulse or since you main warlock try to get the Tlaloc scout rifle. You need to get to rank three with the gunsmith to get it but trust me it's worth it. For a special weapon, it truly depends on the map for me, if it's close quarters, use a shotgun. But with practice you can use fusion rifles and side arms to some effect in those ranges. For longer lines of sight go with a high impact sniper with low stability. For a heavy I use the ruin wake to great effect because of its high impact. But you can make use out of any heavy weapon. At the end of the day it just depends on your play style. For a subclass for trials go with the sunsinger with self revive if you are just starting out. For objective based game modes I use the void walker because of its multi kill capabilities. When using that super wait until a large amount of the enemy is in an area and use it then. You can use storm caller to a good effect in any game mode. But those are just my scenarios. Finally use bolt grenades. Arc bolt, Fire bolt, and Axion bolt. For the storm caller, sunsinger and void walker respectively. However since you're new, experiment figure out what you like and what works well for your play style.

Know your subclass perks and pick them wisely and use them efficiently. Understand map layouts and know what area has high traffic. Better to run with your team than running alone. Also have a competitive loadout with the perks that suits your game play. And aim for the head...
