[u][i]Venture Into The Vault - 3.1[/i][/u] Emilia stuck close to Rush, taking on every Harpy she could. A blast came from the stairwell, taking down the Templar's Shield. "Shields down!" Dennis yells into everyone's comm link. Rush and Zephyr took out their snipers, shooting the Templar in the eye, staggering it from using it's "Aeon Maul." Maria and Gizmo provided support with Rockets. "Looks like you got used to that thing real quick." Rush chuckles, shooting the Templar with his Spear. "Mar and Giz, watch out. He's teleporting over to you guys." Zephyr finally spoke since the battle started. "Dennis, move up front." Zephyr commanded and Dennis obeys. Musical notes began playing, signaling the Oracles. "Oracles where Emilia is located and one near Rush." Maria called out for Rush and Emilia. "Destroy them." Emilia took the nearest oracle and destroyed it, leaving Rush to snipe his Oracle. "Oracles are down, ready to down the Templar's Shield." Emilia said, readying her Scout at the Templar's eye. Dennis charged the Aegis with Light and a blast emitted from it. "Shields are down, do as much damage. Rush and Emilia, move positions when he teleports." Rush did the same Sniper tactic with Zephyr, staggering the Templar. Emilia and Dennis cleared out most of the Harpies, leaving a clear field. Maria provided support for Gizmo with her Ward Of Dawn. The Templar teleports near Rush, focusing fire on him. He moves behind cover, taking Emilia with him. He breathes heavily, as the Templar focused fire on the pillar Rush and Emilia were behind, Dennis and Zephyr forced the Templar to switch positions. "Shield's going down, but don't shoot." Dennis commands, blasting the Aegis at the Templar. The Oracles sang near Gizmo and Zephyr. Zephyr spots one and takes it down quick, Gizmo switches to a shotgun and takes down his Oracle leaving the Templar alone for quite a few. The Templar teleported back to the stairwell, now focusing on Dennis and Zephyr. Rush moves out of cover and Emilia along with him. A Line Rifle charge could be heard by Rush. He turns to look at the Hobgoblin aiming at Emilia. He thinks quickly. "Watch out!" His senses kicked in and ran towards her, pushing her out of the way and taking the charge instead. The armor sizzled, burning and making him bleed from the arm. Rush grits his teeth, resisting the pain. "Rush..." Emilia stood up, running over to Rush to aid him. He shakes his head and waves her off. He holds in the blood, standing up. "I'm fine, just focus." Rush said wiping the blood from his arm. He unholsters his Hawkmoon, shooting three Harpies behind Emilia. "Watch your back..." Rush says. The Templar fizzed and buzzed. It screamed it's Vex Screech, calling it's Minotaurs. Sparks flew out the Templar, meaning it was damaged immensely. "Shield's going down. Everyone get ready." Dennis said standing his ground in front of the Templar. The Aegis blasted once more taking down the Templar's shield. Gizmo Shadowshot the Templar, tethering it with nearby Vex. "Bloodbound gotta come in handy sometimes!" Gizmo shouts into the comm links. "He's tethered, down him quick." "Rush. You ready?" Zephyr asked over the comm, drawing his sword, The Bolt-Caster. "Of course I am." Rush activated his Golden Gun. "One shot is all it takes..." Zephyr swung his sword at the Templar leaving a Arc Blast, tracking the Templar. Rush shot his Golden Gun, with precision, at the Bolt Caster Arc Frisbee, creating a elemental clash of Arc and Solar. The Templar scrambles to get to safety, dying slowly. It let out it's final roar, exploding into pieces. Debris and rock flew across the Well. It's eye lands next to Rush, as he spots it and picks it up as a trophy as he did with Crota's sword. "Heh..." Rush let out a sigh, finally killing the Templar. "We did it..." Rush raises his arms in triumph, relieved. Lowering his arms, Rush took a part of his cloak and formed a makeshift bandage. "That'll do." Rush rubs the wound, Emilia next to him. She kneels, and touched his wound, making Rush flinch a little. "Are you alright?" She asks, worrying about his health. Rush nods once, showing her that it's okay. She sighs with relief and dusts off her robes. "Okay good... And uhm... T-Thanks for doing that brave act... Back there..." Emilia hid her arms behind her back, nervousness and shyness took over her. "No, no it's fine. I made a deal with Theo, and I plan to keep it... It's for the bet-" She walks up and hugs Rush, interrupting him, but she smiled warmly behind her helmet. Dennis and Zephyr were about to move toward the Labyrinth, but spots the scene. The two awe at them both, sensing some sort of spark between the two. "Cute, yet again." Maria says with a tint of happiness in her tone. She took out her Ghost and took a photo of the two Guardians. "Thank you..." Emilia said lightly. Rush smiles and returns the hug and pats her back lightly. "No problem..." Rush says gently. "As I said, I'm not losing another Guardian." Gizmo jumps on the ledge, meeting up with the others as they looked at the two Guardians. "Did I miss something?" He questioned. He was hoping he didn't. Gizmo looks at Rush and Emilia. "N-No--" Emilia replied nervously. "N-Nothing at all!" She laughs weakly, letting go of Rush. "Y-Yeah, nothing." Rush whistled it off, walking towards the Vault door leading to the Gorgon's Labyrinth. Everyone follows with, looking down from the edge. Emilia stays behind the team, nervous of heights. "That... Is a [i]long[/i] way down." Dennis whistled. He threw a grenade, letting it slowly drop to the bottom. "Yep, long way down." Gizmo stepped back and got in sprinting position. "See ya down there!" Gizmo made a dash for it, jumping off at the very edge. Maria and Zephyr blinked, looking down at the crazed Exo who had just jumped off. "Well... Who's next?" Maria questioned, prepping her Ward Of Dawn for the fall. "Me, of course." Maria jumped off the edge, forging void light in her hands. She lands with her and her Ward intact. "Race you down?" Zephyr asked Dennis, who was already in sprint position. "Thought you'd never ask..." Dennis and Zephyr started out even, and ran for it. Dennis, being a Titan, fell faster than Zephyr. Emilia and Rush look down at the others, it was their turn. "So... You or me first?" Rush asked Emilia, turning around to face her. "Us... Us first. I'm not going down there, because well... I'm afraid of heights..." Emilia sighs, looking down at the Vault floor. Rush stifles, turning away from Emilia, laughing silently. "Okay-- Okay, so... Hehe-- Okay." Rush laughs a bit louder and louder each time. "Okay... Phew... That was [i]good[/i]... Anyways back to here, you just stay here and uhhh... We'll se-" "No, you will not send help." Emilia says, leaning on the rock wall. "Well you've got two choices then!" Rush holds up two fingers, wagging them in front Emilia's face. "One is bridal-style and two-- Two is you just jump..." Rush ended on an awkward note. Emilia twiddled her thumbs, looking down at the ground. She sighs and walks up to Rush and put her arm and his neck. "I'm [i]not[/i] getting carried myself now am I?" She says. Rush sputters and Emilia positions his arms out. "And-- There!" Emila chuckles in Rush's arms. "Now we can both get to the bottom." Emilia kicks her legs slowly. "You've done this numerous times to me. So it shouldn't be a problem... [i]Right?[/i]" "O-Of course!" Rush said nervously, turning his head away from Emilia. "I wanted to do this any... ways..." Rush ended silently, blushing. "What did you say?" Emilia questions Rush, folding her arms, looking at Rush with cold eyes. "Nothing..." Rush mumbled under his breath. "What did I just listen to?" Zephyr asked over comms. "Some sort of romance? You comin' down or what?" "N-Nothing! N-Nothing at all, we're coming down now! Heheh..." Rush walks slowly off the edge, grabbing momentum each second of the fall. Emilia closes her eyes, and clutches on to Rush's neck and cloak. "Almost there, just a few more feet." Rush shouts through the air. The two Guardians land, water splashing around them. "And we are here." Rush ends happily, putting Emilia down. "Took you guys quite a while." Dennis stood up dusting off his mark. "Anyways... Welcome to this... Place..." Emilia walks around, her feet splashing in water. She stumbles upon a burned cloak, matching the piece of cloth Rush has. "Rush..." Emilia gestures Rush over to examine the cloak. "Mind pulling that piece of cloak out?" She asks and Rush nods once. He shuffles in his pockets, pulling out the cloak. Kneeling, he matched it with the full-length cloak on the ground. "... Just leave it alone for now..." Rush says looking away and putting the piece he had back into his pockets. "We'll come back to it after this..." Rush tapped into his inventory, storing the piece of cloak elsewhere.
