Wait for that exotic question (the example) aren't there only three that we know of? Unless maybe I'm missing some cards that say otherwise.
Also an exotic question would be nice.

If I remember correctly the vanguard (ikora specifically but idk) said its unsure about whether or not atheon created or was created by the vault of glass, something about spanning across timelines or whatnot

Yup you are right. The Grimoire card about Atheon states that its impossible to determine whether the Vault created Atheon, or Atheon the Vault
