Also, my friend who is funny af ( and sadly goes to my high schools rival school) would always find ways to piss off our 8th grade science teacher. she was obsessed and I mean OBSESSED with birds. Let's call her Ms. N (not her last names first letter) let's call my friend, Oliver. (obviously not his real name) During our unit on Evolution, Ms N would tell us about Charles Darwin and how his theory is the only theory and that that's how the world was created. All the usual anti religious propaganda from public schools. So during this same unit, Ms N was gone, there was a sub who happened to know me from football. I played on our 8th grade team and so did Oliver. This sub happened to be a referee. Ms N left the sub a Bill Nye video about Evolution for us to watch. Everyone knows that during a video is when you get your phones out. I didn't because we were warned that if the sub wrote our names down for being disruptive, that she would write a referral, and I didn't want that. (No I'm not a GG but our assistant principal is that one guy who yells at you if you come into his office for a referral) So Oliver took out his phone and started playing police sirens. As a joke, he started saying out loud, "Man! There must be a high speed chase outside". The sub must not have heard him, because he kept watching the video. Then, Oliver played moaning sounds from his phone. Again, it seemed the sub did not hear this. I was LMAO @ this. The next day, when Ms N came back, she pulled me and another kid who had nothing to do with this, into the hall. I proceeded to tell my side of the story, in which I did not snitch on Oliver. And thought nothing of this because Ms N said that it was a misunderstanding that I had my name written down. The next week I was called to the assistant principals office. This was my first time being called there for being in trouble. Surprisingly since that was my first (and only) time, I was let off with a warning. My heart was racing when I was in there. No screaming or parents called or anything! And after all of this... Oliver never got in trouble for it.........
