  • I did it in around 2 hours. Monte Carlo and Armamentarium. Magnetic Grenade. Dark Beyond or whatever the first mission on the moon is (We've woken the hive!) I use the sword to block, also. Wait for the thralls to pile up and magnetic grenade the big group. Then another wave of thralls come out, but not much so I just kill them with Monte Carlo and force barrier the acyloytes and stray thrall. Then the third 'wave' come and another mag grenade for them. Try to get your grenade before you wipe.

Load up the Dark Below warmind mission on earth. Go to part where thrall come out in waves. Equip your void sword and hold block until it runs out of ammo. Kill enemies with the sword hilt. Each kill counts as ability kill. Jump off and die, then repeat. This is the easiest way.

    • Depends on if you want to do PvP or PvE, PvP tends to give higher percent rates on completion but it's reliant on your grenades and melee ability even if they are panic moments. But if going PvE route, see if you got a friend or find someone willing, to be a SunSinger with the reduce cooldowns ability and pop it when they reach super and just follow you to give you the buff. And you can give them orbs to charge it faster by popping your bubble up. But PvE, looking at 3-5 kills per 1% on sword quest. Not sure about PvP kill to % ratio but might be a 1 for 1.

    • Hop into mayhem crucible with max discipline and run around with magnetic (sticky) grenades. You need WAY less kills in pvp vs. pve.

      • Lost to light, melee with orb. Melee is always charged when you have the orb.

Easy peasy: Armamentarium (Optional), Max Discipline, sticky grenades. Now hear me out, you're gonna want to go into Mayhem. Take those sticky grenades and you ram them right down peoples throats. Literally, don't do anything other then stick people, it doesn't matter if you die a lot. I don't want to see you firing any guns, punching any punches, you only throw those grenades. You'll always have one ready with max discipline. Kills in crucible count as significantly more in terms of % done, do that and it'll be done in no time. It's also extraordinarily fun to stick people but that's just a bonus. Seriously, do this and I guarantee it'll go much faster then any PvE method.

          • I was in the same place about a day ago. What I did: 1. Max out your Discipline, even if it lowers you a little. Should be 25 sec cooldown. 2. Use Magnetic grenade. 3. Load up "The Dark Beyond" mission on Heroic. 4. When the Hive come at you, round up the Thrall, then throw a nade. They'll duck, and then get blown to bits. You can do this about three times per spawn. 5. DON'T KILL THE BOOMER KNIGHT! 6. Let yourself die to the Knight or Acolytes. Respawn and repeat. 7. You should get about 3-5% each spawn. Takes a while, but I just put some earbudd in and rocked it. 8. Sorry for long post. Good luck!
