Shot package removed - Time to consider fusion rifles?
Every year one player know that a year ago fusion rifles used to be the big thing in the crucible. Then the option of reforging Felwinters came around and the rest is pretty much history. House of Wolves also intruduced Party Crasher +1 along with Matador 64.
I have always been a sniper rifle kind of guy but every time I ran No Land Beyond I would take out a vanilla Dead Orbit fusion that I picked up ages ago - Final Rest II with perfect balance and range finder. Unfortunately this pearl is no longer an option for me in year two.
Its about time I pick up a beast fusion rifle in TTK. Im wondering what you guys are rocking right now? Have you found your "to-go" fusion?
I picked up the strike exclusive Dark Blade's Spite. Some ridiculous range and impact but really slow charge time. Reminds you of Praethorian Foil.

The Thesan FR4 is pretty kick ass in the crucible, it's an arms day weapon from the gunsmith.

Light in the Abyss was all I used in Trials last year.. Shame i won't be able to repeat it again..

I got the raid fusion rifle with hella good perks, it's actually viable in crucible now

I have a Y1 fusion rifle with hot swap and hip fire. Not a bad roll.

I still get sniped by shotguns shot package NERFED helped but didn't hit MY biggest concern the conspiracy theory... They still need a range nerf IMHO

I have always used fusion rifles, in part because I'm not that good at snipers and I delete shotguns automatically. Telesto is hilarious though.

Fwc vendor "The Vortex" is a monster. Hidden hand, accelerated coils on an already fast charge rate.

Wish they would've made a year 2 Plan C....loved that fusion so much before the rise of the shotties, still used it to good effect even after.

3 RepliesSusanoo is a god-tier fusion rifle in both PVP and PVE. For more inferior classes, Thesan FR4 is an acceptable substitute. ;)
