It doesn't take away from the fact that he hit all those mad shots. I use Efrideets Spear with a whopping 0 aim assist. I also use the Stillpiercer, which has noticeable aim assist. I do just as well with either one. Aim assist for snipers doesn't do a whole lot for your aim if you are bad. If you are already a great sniper, you will always be. If you are bad, the worst it does is make it easier to get better.
