No one seems to have a clear answer for this, but I'll ask here I guess.
Will someone at 310 Light (310 every weapon/armor) do more damage? or will there be a capped light level for all players entering trials/iron banner this coming week?

Something like 5 or 10 light difference has little to no advantage. Bigger differences like 20-30 light is more noticeable because they have all around better gear. Two points of damage and defense here and there is meaningless

If someone is a 310 will so a lot more damage than a 300 as level advantages are enabled

Edited by Tucker: 10/10/2015 10:21:01 AMIn PvE, there's no difference between a 300 and a 310. I feel as though it's going to be similar in PvP. The 310 is, atm, for being rights. Edit: bragging rights

Im equating 290-295 maybe similar to being a prior 32 compared to a 34? And then at 300 light somewhere around a 33? Either way it wont make a huge difference. Level has never played that big of a difference so long as youre "close"

Depends on the level difference of the enemy. Against a 300 enemy, yes a 310 will do more damage than a 300
-
I don't see there being a huge difference between 300-310. But that's usually how it works in IB

and where did you find this information? @Demonic Stranger

No. Trials and IB both use light level for damage calculation, just like always.
