Won't lie feel completely like garbage right now :/ so tell me fellow gamers what's got you down at the moment?

1 ReplyI decided to live with the philosophy of, "it could be much worse". Despite that, I still suffer from serious depression, both because of seasonal depression and my bipolar disorder. I also have aspergers and ADHD, and am medicated for all of the above. Unfortunately there really isn't much I can do about my state of mind as it is a product of my disabilities. I still function well in everyday life, but when depression hits, I start to feel heavier than three of me. To say the least, it keeps me from being functional for the majority of my daily life.

My home life is rough right now and several events I have no control over. My health hasn't been great and I try so hard to get better. No one cares. I'm tired of living. I'm depressed a lot and cry a lot. Help doesn't seem to help at all. No one listens anyways. I'm hanging in there as long as I can. Don't know how much longer before I decide to check out and just end it. I'm tired......feel like I could just break. I have no one really to turn to. I come on destiny to have fun and keep my mind off things. I love this game but in all honesty..... Most people I met on here are no different. All assholes and treat me like shit. Some things never change. Makes me not want to be anywhere.

The fact that i cant answer a friend's question without a bunch of people being jerks and wanting to start debates. Also, these guys at school can do any disrespectful (sexual) thing to girls and the girls still want to be with them all the time. Im a straight A student, actually respect girls, don't get in trouble, and im not ugly, yet all the girls at school only want to go out with guys who disrespect them.

She was on the other side of the U.S. She cheated, I still stayed. We didn't talk for months after that. I told her off. She comes back a year later, wanting to start over. I accept. 2 days go by, I say screw it and let her go. Basically, I'm a moron. Shouldn't have gotten involved on the first place. Now I just need to vent. It's just hard to forget.

The kind of stuff that you can't forget about over a night of drinking till you forget. We've had our ups and downs and I've been patient and dealt with it when it's got bad. But just recently it got to the point where I had to let go because of how she played me and lied to me. She always has guys trying to get at her, even when we talked, and I've told her how I felt about it. All they want is sex from her but all I want was just a simple relationship. I just wanted to be around her, I could care less about anything sexual. But she lead me on, hard. Made me think that she changed and that she wanted a simple relationship as well. Said that there weren't any other guys. A lot of lies and the only person to blame is me for my ignorance. I wasn't mad at her for playing me, I was mad at myself for letting it happen. I just got so tied up with my emotions for her that in the end it made me look like a -blam!-ing dumb ass. And it's hard, ya know? To have been through a lot with someone that meant so much you, only to one day have all that mean nothing. Having to let go of her and all the memories we've had. I'm betting money that I look like a pathetic loser talking about my problems on a video game forum but sometimes it's nice just to have someone, even if it's a complete stranger, to talk to or vent to.

5 RepliesWatching my wife suffer: she was in a nasty car accident last year where the airbag didn't deploy properly, causing nerve damage that the doctor(s) still haven't been able to fix. Being in pain is bad, but watching someone you love suffer really twists the blade. Focus on the positive everyone (easier said than done), a brighter day could be just over the horizon ;-) I'm still hanging onto hope that human trials will start soon for neurosynapse modification via nano-bots to reduce the brain's reaction to pain signals...hope is definitely a mixed blessing, eh? ;-)

This... "Weapon Parts from dismantling Uncommon or Rare Weapons have been reduced by around 25%" Weapons parts are hard enough to come by as is, i get about 80% armour vs 20% weapon engram drops. I have so many weapons maxxed out experience wise but no weapons parts to level them up. Sigh. Seems so stupid that something as mundane as weapons parts is the most precious commodity in this game... And they made it worse with the new update!!!
