Wouldn't be a need for this if they'd removed the crucible requirements, or put in an "and/or" option so those that prefer to do them in crucible still could do it, while people that only go to crucible for the marks could do their quest elsewhere.

Don't forget Bungie claimed that Exotic Weapon Bounties like Year One a Thorn for example, would have an alternative method to the PvP requirements in a future update. Lies, lies, lies. I 100% clearly remember seeing this in a Year One Weekly Update and yet in Year Two The Chaperone requires a steep PvP toll as does the Exotic Sword Bounty. I'm sick of the lying. Make the bounties/quests easier or eliminate these bull PvP steps thus negating the form a fireteam in Rumble method.
