Sleeper Simulant is the GOAT
If you say this gun sucks than you're terrible at this game. 1 shot takes out all of Crota's shield in CE raid and demolishes Warpriest and Golgoroth. It is s boss killer just like Ghorn. The only thing is it's terrible for ads, but who cares

I like it. It's basically a heavy sniper. My 298 SS does 14k damage to Undying mind and my 306 still pieced does 9K.

Stack sunbreaker punch + nightstalker super + weapons of light for some serious burst. Echo chamber boss died on the 2nd pass just with punch using the SS.

If you don't have spindle, I would probably recommend rotating it with your sniper on WP and Golgoroth. It probably squirts put more damage than a machine gun or launcher in the same time frame (nor can you blow yourself up with it when I thrall walks in front of you). If you have a spindle, put it away. If you don't have ToM, having it as a reserve on oryx for ogres isn't a bad idea. If you have ToM, put it away. It's definitely not a top tier exotic, but it's better than a legendary in your heavy slot if you don't have one of the fore-mentioned weapons.

It's not that great man, 2 blue rockets took down crotas shield too, My 1000 yd does exactly half the damage SS does on crits, and I get 23 sniper shots to 7 SS shots. Easy math, not worth the exotic slot.

310 variant only drop him to the "o" in "Crota" in Hard mode. Are you talking abou easy more?

4 RepliesSo what's the damage on a headshot on warpreist cause I still think black spindle overall would be a higher damage output. You can probably get 3 crits off on black spindle at the same pace of 1 sleeper shot.

It's a very good gun. just bad exotics perk. I wish it was more useful. I like the gun though.

I agree it's pretty good. I was testing it out and got lucky enough to have 3 vandals line up at the right moment. Ss killed all 3 with 1 shot

3 RepliesMaybe not the new Gally. But still awesome. The reason most of the people hate it is because they actually have to aim and get a crit. They want to throw a tracking rocket that blows up on proximity then makes baby rockets that also track.
