I'm level 35 and they are not dropping it. I need a different way to get it.

How do you never see them at level 35? I saw them all the time at level 20! Anyhoo, if you go to the Boethia shrine, the bad guys in there are stock piled with daedric equipment, if you still cant find a daedric helmet then the problem is something with your account or disk imo
Posted by: Flame Killa 2PC Once you get to a high enough level Daedric guys will start to have them.
or like he said, daedroths will sometimes start to carry them once you're around level 20ish (i think)
Posted by: FLAMEnGIR
Posted by: Triik0r Damn 35? I had the full set at like, 22 lol. (about that inn, that is where I got most of it lol, violently...)
Which inn? What's her name? I'm desperate.
its called the roxey inn, its just a bit north of the imperial city right along the road that goes around lake rumare. ill pull up links to the location and the chick, theres a few tricks to get her to attack you and possibly get an imperial soldier to help. i forgot her name, but she carries a full set of deadric armor besides the shield. theres also people in there carrying a lot of strong enchanted stuff as well. location and her name is rigmor rigmor has a high agression, talk to all the people in the inn wearing armor and stuff, raise their disposition to a decent amount. from there, lower her disposition towards you, try to get it to 0, if she doesnt attack then, just pull out your weapon. the high disposition will allow you to yield to her allies if they start to attack you, that way you can single her out. it will count purely as self defense and no bounty. if you want to take them all down, it is recommended you lower their disposition while the guard is in the inn, as he often visits. if you single out rigmor, the guard will come help you if he's there, but her allies will attack the guard. the guard may sometimes win and kill some of them without you wanting him to. hope that helps =) [Edited on 06.28.2009 3:17 PM PDT]

There are several ways to obtain it, I have found a lot on my level 32 character for the Xbox. 1. Go to the Roxey Inn, there is a lady there that will wear full Daedric when you are a high level. 2. Mauraders wear them all the time. 3. Oblivion Gates. 4. Random loot in caves/dungeons. Just don't give up, and if you need some extra help, just go to Options, and put the difficulty all the way to the left, so it is easier to defeat enemies and find what you need.

Is it a mod?
Posted by: Raw King07 I'm 45 and I've still never seen one. I just use an Ebony Helm. But in Morrowind, there never was a normal Daedric helm, there were 3 special ones that you could find in certain dungeons that did some bombass things (like +50 personality). I dunno if they made it the same in Oblivion though.
if you have the shivering isles, the helmet you get from one of the two factions is equivalent to the deadric, or whatever level you gaind it at. just bought the game of the year edition online, and my xbox RRoD's. what a coincidence. They aren't that uncommon are they? I usually find them on Vampires, sometimes Marauder warlords.
-
I have the complete armor set,if your finding it hard to get one try getting one in the cave between legawiin and bravil where the black bows are fight the maurades. or across from that in the fort occupied by vampires,it along the coast by the wooden bridge.

Hrmm, On my main character I just murdered one of the Anti-Vampire guys in the Imperial City ( did this about a year ago. That and I fairly sure it drops a fair bit now. (Getting on to about high 30's). Know the little hut in the City Harbour that you own?. When for the entire game (first time) I couldn't be bothered to sell my junk. And since my armour wieghed nothing, and I had a large carrying wieght any way, That + about 200-300 in feather enchantments (Took a bloody while) I built a collection as I went through most dungeons. So at first I put it all into the chest. But it became laggy loading it^^. So amazingly it wasn't as laggy and didn't take as long to find stuff, to just dump in on the ground in the hut. Consequently I fild the hut up a thrid of the way with junk and armour. Putting oblivion in now to see my character. I remember Helms beign fairly rare, I think I had about 4-5 Helmets. And about 8 sets of deadric without the helmet.
Posted by: Evil Elite
Posted by: madal44 this is off topic but i have the limited edition and i had just leveled up in the mages guild and i was an arch mage but the weird part was this naked girl came out of nowhere braw and thong on and i'm like wtf?
pics or it didnt happen
Off topic here, but it is possible. Mage aprentices use bound armour spells and scrolls, when they use these their armour and clothing becomes unequipt, and then when the spell runs out they remain undressed until you leave the cell, they sleep, or you fast travel. Also, as a handy tip. Get a female mage apretice to do this, (when following you as the arch mage) Then, when she is unrobed pickpocket her clothes. Profit.

If I remember correctly. Levels 1-5: Iron. Levels 5-10: Steel. Levels 10-15: Dwarven. Levels 15-20: Orc. Levels 20-25: Ebony. Levels 25-30: Daedric. It's something like that, every five levels a better armour enters the world. I got my full set of daedric at level 32, but the helm was really rare :/

The lady in question is in an Inn just acorss the lake from the ruin Vilverin(spelling? its the aleyid ruin you see when you first come out of the sewers),if you go to the ruins and go straight, you should be able to find the Inn. As another bonus,in the same building you will find other people worth...disposing.
