The concept of Destiny is excellent, i don't think I'm the only one who thought it has/had the potential to be one of the greatest games ever but unfortunately it seems Bungie/Activision read "How not to treat your player base for dummies" and implemented most of them. Release half finished game Sell overpriced dlc which adds very little to the game All player who spent time and effort trying to get the best gear should be made irrelevant every time we release dlc Apologise to the community about making their efforts irrelevant and promise never to do it again then 9 months later change our minds Add in micro transactions initially cosmetic only Have a good catchphrase "throw money at the screen" Treat all fans like statistics anyone who doesn't purchase or has played your latest game should not be allowed to use your forum. I probably missed some but all of those are true which is sad. I find it unbelievable that they thought this was the best way to make money over releasing a decent game, treating the community with respect and actually communicating over real issues. Business 101 a customer who feels valued will always pay a little more for your product. Tl;dr Destiny: fantastic concept let down by poor management.
