What skills are needed to hide on a map and snipe ??
None...but many many sniper fans cry about shotguns and want them gone and lol claiming lol snipeing is a skill..its not....So snipers need a nerf...too op. One shot kills is ridiculous specially now there are no shotguns for one shot kills we should not have a weapon that should be able to do A one shot kill
Edit all those that claim shotguns can snipe now. Let's see you video proofs. Let see a bunch of shotguns kills from sniper ranges ..I mean there should be MANY with so much crying over it..after a few days of this post NOT ONE PERSON has proof that the current shotguns can snipe kill ...but can exaggerated and said I have done when I know as well as everyone else it didn't really happen. It's just the player there just a scrub in noob and they suck at PvP and they got to blame everything else but themselves why they suck...
Edit: I posted this not because I'm making excuses why I'm not the greatest PvP I can care less I play it to have fun I don't care about my stats so please dig in and rip on them all you want I don't care. I do care is reading on forums all the whining all the time of a weapon needing a nerf. This is no different than any other PvP online game I've ever played in first person shooter. You're going to have your noobs your scrubs that will call everyone else noobs or scrubs and want a weapon nerf because they suck themselves. It'ss always the players fault, also everyone has equal opportunity to get that weapon and take advantage of its abilities so do it or shut up. Just like when you play a ball game and its raining and the grounds muddy everyone has to play on the mud an have to play in the rain that is equal it's fair. And those that claim it takes more skills to snipe then to use another weapon...lol get over yourself..every weapon in this game or any 1st person shooter games all have different skill sets to use them..they are all equal..the best PvP players can utilize any weapon even a side arm what I really can't an Excel and have no excuses why they get killed by somebody else no matter what weapon was used to kill them other than themselves..but we got way Waaayy too many babies or cryers that blame everything else but looking in the mirror and seeing what real blame ..themselves..

How can a sniper be OP? It kills in one head shot, ok? Some have a lot of aim assist, ok? Shotguns have ridiculous perks that make them OP. And they take 0 skill. You don't even need to aim.

Map awareness is obviously important, and obviously you can't be glued to the scope, you need to be able to move from one perch to another frequently, group awareness, monitoring the flow of the fight. A really good sniper is a really good player.

Implying slide shotgunning or the old blink/shotgun combo was hard.... bahahaha. Plus, the so called "nerf" with shotguns is barely noticeable, as most shotguns can still get you from ridiculous ranges. Anyone can kill with a shotgun or sniper, but to be good with it is a whole other beast, which sniping takes more talent to use overall.

Clutch no scope Etc etc. I'm not very good sniper but in real life 1 shot from a sniper anywhere and your probably dead. Headshot. Pft what head . Sniping does require more skill....unless . <-------- you are using high auto assist sniper. Sniping players trapped in spawn . Or otherwise being a douche. Same could be said for shotguns . I see no need to nerf anything as I'm intelligent enough to work around others. I don't punctuate or grammar check if you don't like it suckmyballs

Buuuullshit. Takes good timing, and hand-eye coordination to adjust quickly to a sliding guy, jumping guy, or multiple targets. You must be seriously retarded if you think it takes no skill. How many of these "easy" sniper kills do you have? What's your headshot percentage?

It requires skill to get a headshot with a sniper. To make a sniper be a 2 headshot kill would lead snipers to be the worst special Guns in PvP. It is not that easy to snipe some1 in the head and Yeah it requires more skill than using a shotgun,fusion,etc cuz with a sniper you have to hit the head with ur scope while the enemy is moving. 2.06 KD in trials,2,41 KD in Rumble and 50 DTR this is what I think. And yes I do use snipers myself and it is not easy to headshot someone. It can be if you are Skilled but most people can't land a headshot that easily.

3 RepliesWhenever I snipe, I usually play agressively. If I can scope in on a headshot, I take it, if not, I switch weapons. As far as some others go, head glitching snipers infuriate me to no extent. That takes little to no ability and I really haven't a clue how people find it fun to stick to one place for 15 minutes.

People cry about every weapon, you WILL get killed by what is TBD. It's all point and shoot. If any weapon were to be pointed out that takes no "skill" currently auto rifles match that to a T. I watch people just walk and shoot into rooms hoping to hit anything, that is no skill.

You're right to camp with a sniper takes little real skill but to use one aggressively does take a lot, true vanguard, mtashed etc.... Are prime examples of real skill, seriously wouldn't want to drop in a match against them.

It also doesn't take skill to run at someone with a shotgun and shoot them for a one shot. There aren't any shotguns with OHK capability, you say? Well every shotgun has OHK potential, just not from ridiculous range like before. Sometimes when you're sniping someone will get to you and kill you with a shotgun. Sometimes when you charge someone with a shotgun they'll kill you with a fusion rifle or sidearm. What takes skill isn't hiding in the back with a sniper, it's staying mobile with radar awareness so you can both snipe and make sure that you don't get flanked. Also, you clearly just want to infuriate us snipers. Look at all those comments. You did a good job.

I snipe AND use shotguns, and I only tend to hate one another when I get killed by it... Am I salty enough to ask for nerfs or make a post regarding a players lack of skill for using it? No. Let them use what they want. Be mad about it. You're allowed to be. But seriously, why must you come to the forums and cry about snipers when they are technically the one-shot or two-shot kill? I'll camp if I want to. I've got my tent and everything.
