I've been praying for a shotgun with decent rolls, and now you go and seek to trash them again. Why? I'm tired of seeing Snipers just trapping down every imaginable route. It's monotonous: Walk into doorway. Get Hardscoped. Respawn and/or lose the round. Rinse & repeat. I liked Sniping because it was a delicate art that players took it upon themselves to try and master. But what I'm seeing now is everyone swap to a Sniper because Shotguns are ineffective without the right perks (and the right perks are not only rare, but now being removed from the game entirely!) It's just frustrating. The least you could do is fix up Fusion Rifles so they're a competitive option. Or give Sidearms Zen Moment more often to make them useful. I get you're trying to 'create' a new and fresh meta, but at this point all you're doing is [i][b]recreating BR Snipers.[/b][/i] Please tweak something about the other Secondaries if you're so butthurt from Shot Package that you feel- You know what? I still don't understand how you idiots can call Shot Package OP, but leave Blink in the mix. You'll never actually balance this game, all you do is tweak what [i]you[/i] want to see less of. Our opinions mean nothing to you unless they happen to coincide with your own biased agenda. Come Destiny 2, you can shove your Space Magic up your candy asses. I'm tired of this game's illogical pattern of buffing only to nerf again (and generally nerf twice in a row; Shotguns basically getting the AR treatment at this point.) It's not fair to nerf what you don't like and neglect to answer our feedback when it's something '[i]you[/i]' think is negligible. Everytime the fact that Titans can't Blink is brought up, you've avoided giving it to them at all costs. You barely even nerfed it with this last tweak, and even then you gave Warlocks a Helmet to counteract this update. You've also made Golden Gun and Bladedancer faceroll over Defender Titans like they're not even trying. Reminds of the term 'facerolling' Paladins back in WoW. It draws the perfect analogy for how you've babied Warlocks and even Hunters with your nerfs. But go ahead and neglect to give Titans a second grenade, or even Blink, and take away Shotguns which were the only things keeping us safe in melee ranges since our actual melee has ass lunge/targeting. Keep ignoring the obvious agenda they're facilitating at Bungie. Let them rub one off in the Crucible and let them revel in their false glory. They're just trying to make the game more tailored to their gameplay, not the communities. Shotguns are being 'overused' now because they're the only actual Secondary that can remain consistent in most players' hands. It's not because they're OP, Bungie is just sore in the ass from year 2 Party Crashers and Matadors that they themselves let happen. Bungie, you could easily rebalance the other options to be more competitive compared to the strength of Shot Package. Instead you want to create a game where everything gets nerfed into oblivion at your discretion. I don't understand what's so hard about making Fusion Rifles or Sidearms actually good. It wouldn't have been that hard to do. But instead you do the laziest (and easiest) thing: Nerf one thing instead of having to buff two. And to be honest, I'm tired of your shenanigans. Feels like you'll never balance this game, we're all just basically juggling guns based on your choice for the 'flavor of the month,' so that you can have us all dropping our Shotguns to pursue other guns we otherwise wouldn't bother with and therefore spend less time grinding. -_- What goes through your heads, I wonder, when you're reading our feedback. My best guess is probably: "Nah, I don't give a -blam!-. I'll just nerf what I'm tired of and the community can just deal with it." I won't doubt that you did this specifically because of the competitive PvP game types that're just around the corner. Probably sore you couldn't get your 9-0 every week and wanted to remove Shotguns to help ease the ravaging you were all about to get at the end of our Shotguns. Just sick of the monotonous double nerfs, really. First Auto Rifles, now Shotguns, lord only knows if Hand Cannons will be next. Heaven forbid someone at Bungie gets killed by Hawkmoon one too many times during IB or ToO, we'll all have to resort to Pulse Rifles because Bungie still dreams of their BR days.
