Sleeper Simulant quest glitch?
I got the quest, did all the first steps, got the core, activated it with the 3 WARSAT, the Archives and dismantled a legendary heavy... but hadn't the time to run the strike to complete the quest on the following day. Now, 36 hours later, everything is gone. No more core, nothing. The gunsmith gives me the quest from the beginning again. Gone the legendary heavy, for nothing.
Is it a glitch or is it mandatory to complete the quest on 2 consecutive days? I don't mind doing it again, but the lost legendary for nothing is bothering me...

Went through everything, and I thought the same thing. I started the quest again and as I finished Sleeper parts were given to me. Took them to Gunsmith and was awarded the weapon.
