Literally played the originals till my fingers bled, and after watching some streams I gotta say I'm very disappointed. Might download the beta this weekend when I have time off work, but if it's not anything like the originals I'm most likely going to dislike it. I'll just wait for Fallout.

It's supposed to be. The devs said that's why it's not called Battlefront 3.

It's a reboot. Like tomb raider and Doom. It's a different game made by a different company sharing only basic similarities with its predecessors. A remake would be more like the halo anniversaries or pokemon fire red where its the same game with better graphics and minor gameplay changes.
