No warsat public events???
Soooo I've been flying around mars back and forth between bunch of areas looking for warsats. Nothing. No publics events at all. Been here hours plus. Same on earth. Back and forth between areas where that website says events are. Nothing at all. Not even targets. I've went back to space numerous times. Moon one popped up immediately. Is anyone else having this problem? Or am just that unlucky?
Edit: thank you all. Tried to reply to everyone. After work I'll try again. With a fireteam and each of us just staying in one location. Skywatch and mothyards. The barren and scablands seem the most ideal.
Finally got the warsat events!! Just took forever.

2 RepliesI'd get the Public events app. It's tedious work; I had to spend around two hours doing that part of the quest across all planets and while I did see various events, few of them were Warsat related. But I had to rely on the app heavily. The app, or the site for that matter, will show you when an event is coming. You only gotta be in the area before the app's timer for the event reached 0. If you get there at -1 and beyond, chances are the event won't trigger. If you do make it there before the 0, you just gotta sit tight for around 5 minutes and the event will start eventually (Yes, it's not immediate. Most of my events started at -4 or so). The app also tells you what kind of event it would be, although I personally didn't find this accurate. It still helps, though. Let's say that I'm in Hellmouth and I'm waiting for an event and the next event starts in Archers Line in 3 minutes, that gives me time to sit by Hellmouth and find out what type of event that is. If it's Warsat, I'll stay there. If not, I'll ditch and move to Archers for a better shot. Again, it might take you a while but the app makes things soooooo much easier and it's really accurate about when the next event will drop. That way, you won't have to sit tight on one area while there's an event going on in some other area and you're missing it.

I used the timer for 2 hours today and didn't get one public event to spawn. I spent two hours last night as well and only had one. This is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I spent 90 mins last night in skywatch only to have taken spawn in each time instead of a public event. WTF?

3 RepliesSome map locations have a higher chance at being warsats. Use the app or sites and focus on events in those areas.

1 ReplyYou definitely get Warsats at both Buried City and Scablands - but I would pitch my tent in the Scablands personally. More resource nodes and chests to loot, more enemies to kill - so all the better for getting other bounties & patrols & quests done.

Dont leave to soon... also dont go to orbit... just stay on planet... again I think its programmed like that... so anti social people that wont help others and only play for there own objective take longer... Karma is a BITCH ;-)
