So many votes for no simply shows the scary number of pathetic children we have populating today's society. The same ones who feel entitled to everything because when they were children their parents were lied to about how cash grew on trees and everyone could be a business or communications major in college without consequence. This same group has gone on to idolize and throw their money at groups like the Kardashians, valuing frauds over intellect. I'm only 29 and this world disappoints me with the type of people who are slowly becoming the masses.

If its sooooo -blam!-ING EASY TO ENTERTAIN, GO DO IT YOURSELF INSTEAD OF SITTING HERE BEING JEALOUS -blam!-IN DUNCE

Lol..

Supporting entertainment from a live streamer doesn't devalue a person. It's not much different than paying tickets to watch your favorite sports team.
-
Calling them entertainment is almost a joke in and of itself.
-
Just because you don't enjoy it, does not mean others find it not entertaining. You're opinion is not the center of the universe, my friend.
-
Hey, if easy money comes for something you love, why not do it? Don't see why not.

Somebody seems a little, oh, I don't know, pessimistic?

It's called realism

Keep I'm mind, I'd agree with you on some things, such as the Kardashiand, but on the other hand, just because you don't like how people make money, does not mean that this will lead to a dumbing down of society as a whole. Have some faith in the people who know better.

I just find the majority of streamers to be pathetic and fell back on it rather than a productive career. I dislike the argument that they are entertainers when very few actually do anything of the sort. They play the game and chat with the people watching.. Yawn. My point in the initial comment mainly stems from how many people I see also donating to these streams. You wanna watch some twitch? Okay. Wanna throw $5 at a giveaway raffle once in a while? Okay. But I see much worse going on and it's disheartening to me.

Hey, if you can make money on what you love, why not do it? Most will move on to something else when the fire dies out

It's your opinion how you see streamers. They are usually kind people, that just love a game and want others to see them play it. People who donate to the stream are like people buying tickets to a free movie, they want to support the movie so that more get made. It's all a matter of perspective. (Btw if you reply you probably won't get a reply for many hours. I'm going to bed now.)
