Oryx Loot Disgusting(2 shards)
For the 4th time in around 12 runs I have gotten 2 moldering shards for loot off Oryx. It's unbelievable that Bungie thinks that 2 moldering shards for the most difficult content the game has to offer is acceptable loot. This needs to be patched. I understand only getting shards on some of the earlier bosses. But two shards is unacceptable as loot for the final boss in the most difficult content in the game. Just one piece of armor or a gun would suffice. But two shards is bullshit. Unreal.

Raid items should be guaranteed welfare drops so no one can have any prestige from hard to get items. Also, green engrams should be removed, blue engrams only do legendary gear, purple engrams only drop exotics, and exotic engrams only drop light level 400 exotics. I'm sorry for your poor luck, but if raid gear was guaranteed, it would devalue it, as well as lead to people stop playing the raid after a couple clears. Atheon, Crota, and Skolas did not have guaranteed gear drops or extra gear chances. Bungie did us a solid by giving us an extra chance on Oryx. Don't be ungrateful. EDIT: I was more than a little rude in the first paragraph. I am sorry for that. It's not edited out because I need to own the mistake.

Noob...if you remember or in the event you did not have pleasure or playing destiny y1. You will recall that atheon would barley drop raid gear. I had 3 (30). In y1. This was a ridiculous grind based on crota and oryx. Stop crying I played atheon 4 weeks straight to be lucky to get weak boots. Grinding it out or play another game... no I don't work for them.....

I don't mind the work we putr in but damn 20 shards for a dishrag for my titan that's 7 points below the one im currently wearing??? yeah that's fair for the last hour and something of work. im running into people who used to do it and now that they have a full set they don't want to anymore.

Yep really hard to keep a raid team motivated to spend hours raiding just to get nothing over and over again, just ridiculous

I got a blue engram lol. That's the name of the game man, RNG. But my hunter got full gear on one go and got 3 things from oryx without shards.... So I guess that's something.

He brought it up to Luke Smith during their podcast. He was like "nah...really? we'll look into it" Who knows wtf they are doing and why we haven't heard anything from on the shard and dupe loot issue.
