Faction: Sons of Ymir, Space Marine Chapter
Combat Doctrine:
Every Company within the Chapter is unique, each trained heavily for their Companies own specialized areas of warfare.
They rarely ever utilize heavy vehicles, armor, or defensive tactics like the Void Wolves, preferring to use quick strikes and ambushes among other things.
Biological History:
A mixed gene-seed Chapter like the Void Wolves, the Sons of Ymir have a gene-seed derived from several donating Chapters.
The Chapters gene-seed is derived from the Ultramarines, the Raven Guard, the Steel Confessors, and, most disturbingly, the Alpha Legion.
Chapter History:
Aside from their shared beginnings with the Void Wolves, they have a history that is distinct among non-Chaos Marines.
Its not hard to know what it is, just look back at what the Vikings did, and you'll have a good answer.
