Why the Sunbreaker ISN'T OP

Now first, let me start this off by saying I have played Sunbreaker for a while now and I think it's probably one of the best subclasses in the game, for PvE and PvP both. Now on to my position on this. The Sunbreaker, while it may seem to be over-powered, is far from it. The reason? His super is the only thing he has. Besides his Super, none of the Sunbreaker's abilities are very good. A lot of the abilities/perks in the skill tree are based around his super, so yeah, it's gonna be a little powerful.

    Fusion grenade is a 1-hit for most cases. Thermite grenade is a good zoning grenade. Incendiary grenades hit hard and can be banked off walls. All grenades regen health with cauterize perk on. Combustion hits hard, burns, can lower defense, can leave an AoE and regen health (cauterize) I fail to see how the rest of the class besides the super is bad?

    • HoS: Ranged 7 shot tracking aoe golden gun with damage resistance and shield regeneration on hit. Solution: Provide hunters with damage resitance, shield regeneration on hit and an additional gg shot.

      Bull shit. Hammer of Sol can stop any other super like the Golden Gun. They're both ranged and one hit. A Sunsinger melee or grenade can't instantly stop any other super. Stormcaller and Blade Dancer require to be so close to the enemy to do any damage but it doesn't take just one hit from a Stormcaller or Blade Dancer to stop Hammer of Sol, even though we pretty much have to be in their face. It takes three to four hits from them, by that time the Hammer can be thrown three times. Sunbreakers are OP and you're a dumb ass for thinking other wise.

      • One thing I argued, I havent used sunbreaker yet but it doesn't seem to have the range that GG or nova bomb has plus there travel time so at range it's pretty much useless

        • So the fusion grenade was only Op on the sunsinger, as was the burning melee, hungering blade was op on bladedancer, but sunbreaker having a perk that procs not only on super kills, but melee or grenade as well as super kills isn't op. Titans argue that they are the "tank" class, but can move horizontally faster than any other class, as well as having the highest jump ability (barring bones of eao of course) "We titans earned this, we've been undervalued for far too long" lol And on that day when sunbreaker gets nerfed, I'll be here, on the forums, running my nipples, watching the forums, waiting for you to complain, here, on the forums, and you will, just as those who came before you complained on the forums, and while you're complaining, here, on the forums, just know, you earned this one too, that fateful day, on those fateful forums Enjoy it while you have it :)

          • Melee makes enemies take more damage Fusion grenades Don't even. Anyways, it isn't that OP, just needs a slight armor reduction, because it is [i]way[/i] too high for a mobile, ranged super.

            • Sunbreaker is the opposite of bladedancer with how the class works. Bladedancer has amazing perks and abilities, but it's super is a little bit lacking (mostly because of its melee only range, obviously not counting razors edge). Sunbreaker has an amazing super, but less than stellar class abilities.

                Honestly if they made it so that the timer doesn't go down until you use the hammer, and made it that you melee with a hammer 5-7 times depending on the perk choice instead of throwing it, it'd solve the "Titans are OP now cause they can throw 1 hit kill hammers" problem and they wouldn't be able to complain about the armor buff because they'd have plenty of time to counter it

                  That's ridiculous, you have fusions grenades, one of warlocks great grenades. For pve you can use melting point or the sun spot one for pvp. You're a better golden gun minus the precision buff perks. But maybe I'm biased my Titan isn't as used as my hunter.

                • 1 hit kill melee, given you account for the burn procs. Short range aye, but no other melee save for Sunsinger with Radiance can claim that. Incindiary Grenades, capable of one-hit kills and I'm glad to see 'em on Sunbreaker (they also allow for tracking through walls, delays Recovery, and can bounce off of obstacles for an indirect engagement option). Oh, and Fusion Grenades. Both are great abilities, not to mention Shimmering Flames and your 15s cooldowns. Glad Titans have a PvP super, but that in-hand with all the rest is a bit much. Not by a wide margin! But just a tad.

                  • So: You throw more than 5 nova bombs(better than gunslinger, void walker, nightstalker) You do a meele that has a huge range with the dash, ( better than blade dancer, striker and stormcaller) You have huge armour (better than defender sunsinger) It is way too op

                    • Sticky grenade. Burning melee that also reduces defenses. Health regen on any ability kill, not just super. And I only got less than half way upgrading my skill tree on my Titan. All desirable non-super perks.
