This does not "make Bolt Caster useless." Bolt Caster can throw these discs 17 times at any time. This glitch gives you 1 and you have to set it up.

7 RepliesThat is super weird... Sometimes I wonder how these types of things happen... It's like they just modeled all swords after originally making the Boltcaster and just replaced the special attacks and element... That's the only reasonable thing I would have for why that glitch could occur
