Anyone else disappointed in how much ammo the SS can hold at once? (Max 7)
EDIT: It's ammo capacity is only upgraded to 9 through heavy ammo upgrades and isn't effected by FR ammo upgrades. Honestly to be worth using up my exotic slot I think it should be 10 (12 with heavy or FR ammo upgrade)

Rocket launchers only get 6 or 7 what's the difference? Sleeper does more damage per shot than a rl also.

Sleeper CAN one body shot a sunbreaker titan though. :P So it's good for something.

1 ReplyNeeds more ammo in magazine "holding capacity" or need more DPS, flat out. Right now it's not a viable exotic to "take up" the slot. If it held 10-12 in the mag/reserve it would be worthwhile but still situational. If it held 15-20 would be a go to.

4 RepliesI got 11 for mine have the year 1 boots on and year 1 chest piece because the chest was the only thing I had that had increased fusion rifle ammo.

7 RepliesI think people are missing the real new op rocket launcher: the dragons breath. It sucked with no tracking. Taikonaut =tracking. Therefore DB = BAMF. It's math.

I have 2 different armor pieces, one with carry more fusion rife ammo and the other with carry more heavy ammo. I went up to 12 ammo for the SS per 1 heavy ammo synthesis use. I didn't try to stack it with carry more special ammo gear yet, but I will later.

Everyone is comparing it to how much rockets hold but aren't understanding that yes it might hit a little harder than a rocket but it focuses on a single target, rockets are meant for groups of enemies. I'm not saying we need 28 shots I'm just saying 12-15 would make it more worth the exotic slot.

It's a heavy weapon, wouldn't make sense to have more than seven or eight. If so it'd be unbalanced. Figure a fire team all have a SS, do a strike with all having maximum 20 ammo while shooting the boss, would be a quick death for him.
