Is there more to the Sleeper Simulant?
Did anybody read what the gunsmith said this morning?He said something about Venus.
If you read what he said.He said something about after you go to bunker 4 the saber strike.We need to search Venus.
Gunsmith said something like Rasputin bunker hidden in Venus.We need to find it.
I don't believe where done upgrading the Sleeper Simulant.
If you remember the upgrade nodes on the Sleeper Simulant are different then the ones shown in the Game Informer.Its missing the Midnight Exigent That shots and Ricochets 5 projectiles!

The Name of the Quest was a Sleeper Awakens...I think that is a hint with in its Self.

The original last perk had Rasputin emblem.The emblem you see on the gun below the trigger and above the magazine.
The third perk emblem is different.I think that is also a clue.

I agree the Vex artifact is for the No Time To Explain.That doesn't change the fact the Gunsmith mention Rasputin signals and hidden bunker on Venus.It said that in the text when you received the special Saber Strike this Morning.

I don't think we need to search for it.It might be another quest unlocked or given tomorrow at reset or unlocked down the line.

Had some body Pm me saying it said part 1 some where in the mission description.I just want to verify that or deny that.

I'm not going on a goose chase.I believe if their is more to the Sleeper Simulant then Bungie will give us the mission when they are ready.If there isn't any more missions to upgrade the Sleeper Simulant I'm ok with that also.I think we will know the answer with in a month's time.

A so called Bungie Employee or some one from Bungie stated on Reddit that there is nothing more to the gun.

If there is enough of a push on them to upgrade it somehow they might extend the quest line & perk tree. With the money they make from Silver that is possible.

As far as i know, the "midnight exigent = incomplete" refers to the defence that Rasputting had held up against the darkness to protect Earth. This protocol is referred to as "midnight exigent", and is still in progress because the darkness has yet to be defeated...

I mean cmon my one hitter quitter raze-lighter holds 68 @ 310 light level That's 13 uppercuts and 6 swipes... 7 sleeper shots @ 290 just isn't gonna cut it

I believe it is incomplete as well. On the app and maybe the website idk, but on the app if someone has the SS equiped, you only see a white box and it says classified. And with me I don't have it equiped and I am unable to equip.it from the app.

If you read the description on the gun there is something incomplete...but it will probably be just as simple as it was getting it.

The signal he detected is from when Rasputin helped dr.shim and the other researchers. I guess we can finally pinpoint that was him since the gunsmith said that. Also with the way the sleepers description read, it might evolve or there might be another part potentially we can add to it later... As it says it's not done yet. Then again, this could be it.

What IMO is being inferred by the actual words midnight/exigent, combined with why Rasputin would need moral restructure to begin it is.... MIDNIGHT EXIGENT is Rasputin developing a weapon for use by guardians, the people he's programmed to protect, so they can beat back the darkness. He halted protection because it would not allow him to begin M.E..He then re-wrote his moral structure to not only totally cancel protection, but to turn those same people into an offensive force using the Sleeper Simulant, which he began production on once canceling protection. IMO. So MIDNIGHT EXIGENT is in progress because guardians are being armed with SS to help eliminate the darkness.

I think folks are searching a bit too hard for something that isn't there. There have been several weapons that had flavor text that left you with a sense of something more.. unfortunately there wasn't. Also us having our swords and then having an exotic version of them has people hooked on this notion. Although it would be VERY cool if there was more to the Sleeper Simulant Bungie would set themselves up to having to have numerous weapons that took this path.. Sometimes a bunny rabbit is just a bunny rabbit.. ARG's are fun for communities so I'm not trying to squash peoples good time.. EDIT: OP or someone put up a picture of the Upgrade screen for the weapon to see the node layout.
