Yeah, screw you buddy. I sent you a flipping message at the beginning of the strike. I had my Knight at low health for a while and I thought you knew but as I'm shooting all these adds I notice you KILLING MY KNIGHT. It wasnt like you were about to die. You are just a jerk.
P.S. I killed your Knight too.
Edit 1: wow, I'm liking these responses. Just to let you guys know, I did send him a few messages and a party invite at the beginning (idk if he ignored it or whatever). I did get the sword on the next attempt.
Fortunately, I think the next random we played with did read the message at the beginning. Unfortunately , we had to keep all three Knights alive and that was a pain.

Edited by rymanosaurus: 10/9/2015 12:15:00 PMTrue story, my first time through was with randoms and I killed the Knights not knowing what to do. So for those 2 guys, I apologize, because I also got an exotic drop and the dark blade helmet.....
sorry, not sorry
5 RepliesIf only there was some simple way to do it. Like running it with a fireteam you know. Imagine how convenient that would be
-
Someone did this to me today but I got the sword next try as well
-
10 RepliesHe killed your knight! Kill his baaaaaak.

17 RepliesEdited by kaaSnipes: 10/8/2015 4:38:41 AMMyself and someone else were doing the sword quest for the Bolt-Caster. We got match-made with someone and we didn't know what sword he was trying to get. We were right at the end of the strike aswell. He completely ignored me when I messaged him and jumped into the circle and killed our Arc knight straight away. We wiped twice and he continued to kill our Arc knight. I asked him to leave but he stayed so I killed every knight and stuffed it up for him as he did for us. Enjoy not getting your sword Pheonix121450. I ended up getting mine. :)

1 ReplyI still haven't beaten it because of shit like this, even being in group chat some damn squeaker kills my knight toward the end of the fight. I literally see him do it and he tries to deny it was him. Quit to orbit and haven't attempted it again since
-
Got a communications ban for like a month after I sent a rage message to some idiot that did the exact same thing.
-
You know that you don't have to go into this with people using the other swords right? If all of you have the same sword type you just worry about that one and nobody has to worry about who killed my knight.
-
dude this almost happen to me but towards the end the dude responded so it was done with no problem we managed to do all 3 swords in that run or was it 2 either way. That sucks that happened .
-
5 RepliesWhat's wrong with him killing a Knight? I'm not aware of the quest details.
-
Bungie is flat out turning the community against each other with this quest step. Now imagine if Raids had matchmaking.....
-
4 RepliesI watched a dude accidentally kill his own warden He sat in a corner for a while shooting the roof and chucking nades at his feet Then he left
-
Biggest pain n the ass right there.....same happened to me A couple times After I just kept leaving matches til I saw someone with the same sword as me....completed quest in that match
-
I killed all three, because I didn't know what to do... But I got it... ;-;
-
I accidentally killed one dude's solar knight. :( I'm sorry to whoever you are!
-
That happened to me too. this guy just decided to kill the arc knight after we got him low, and when we tried to wipe he just kept reviving AFTER we sent him messages
-
Always show your swordtype at the start of the game. Going 2 or 3 at one Knight is much easier than keeping all 3 alive. The odd one out either has to leave or work with the others.
-
2 RepliesI don't see what's so hard about killing 3 knights in like 10 secs i did it without lowering their health, took me like 7 secs, I had arc blade, invective, and nova bomb, it was easy
-
7 RepliesEdited by DILPICKLE714: 10/9/2015 7:22:14 PMThat would be me and my friend: Dilpickle714 and IDigDaLynx. We didn't receive any messages and you didn't kill my warden. We promptly beat it after you left. Thanks for the shoutout by the way.

I had the guys repeatedly kill my knight each time Aluk Hul got to 50%. I messaged him to keep my knight alive, he said I killed his and yet I still see the arc chasing him.
he also popped his super to kill my knight at the beginning as well, twice before they left and had 2 friends help me
-
Did it first try with some great people. When it started I added them both to a message. We found out which ones we needed to keep alive and went through.

No mic?

1 ReplyWhy would you get your knights health low? Leave your knight alone. Timer starts when the knight dies. Stupid scrub.
-
14 RepliesAnd people want raid matchmaking.

2 RepliesI was going after that Solar Taken warden, right? kek. Me and my friend find a Random. Random joins party, sounds young but competent. Previous group left on him he was at Darkblade. We jump down and fight until the Void warden spawns. My Friend had to kill the Arc one, me Solar, the Random Void. So, what happens, you ask? Darkblade comes up to me. OK, nothing new. Arc Warden comes after me. Alak-Hul picks up his Axe and slams it down on the head of the Arc Warden, killing him instantly. We did it three attempts later.
