So all if this seems to be for a fusion rifle? I never use them so no point in doing this mission

It's a fusion rifle that goes in your heavy slot. Apparently, it has beams that can bounce off walls and penetrate multiple targets (or so I've heard). Lastly, it's an exotic quest line...what the heck else ya gonna do? :D
