Warlocks on Raid
So I did the raid first time tonight and I have my main warlock at 296 and I was told oh a warlock is not good you have to switch.....I'm sorry? Why would you make a raid that caters to just 2 classes? I worked my end off to get him to that light just to be told oh sorry can't use him. Just not right imo.
Edit: if anyone who reads this wants to add me on psn pim9y I'd love to use my warlock I used the titan to sisters so I know how to do it up to them.
Edit 2: Thank you all for your replys I actually feel better cause last night pissed me off and I felt like I deserted my warlock well never again.
Edit 3: I am humbled by all the replys thanks for making me see my warlock is wanted and we will be epic to my warlock brothers and sisters thnx for having my back and you titans and hunters you rock too and we all kick ass.

Warlocks can be a lot of help keeping adds off the dps in a few phases. If people are that concerned that having a warlock will drop their dps, they have other issues they should focus on.

It really doesnt matter that you play a warlock I mean sure you may not have a specific role you fill in this raid like boosting team dps against bosses like the other 2 do but at the end of the day you shoot stuff until they die just like the rest of them. Just run your sunsinger as an insurance policy in case things go wrong and run stormcaller for add clearing on golgoroth and you will be fine

Hey add me dude, my team is always willing to help people. Every class is useful in the raid. We use a voidlock for gogroth clearing adds in the pit. We do all six bubbles then jump out. My psn is shadyone87. Good luck guardian!

First time I completed the raid we had 4 warlocks, a hunter and a Titan

1 ReplyAs far as classes go, yeah titans and hunters are more specifically useful. Shadowshot and the Sunbreakers punch are amazing for extra damage on Golgoroth, and the titan bubble with weapons of light is great for the other bosses. However, that doesn't mean warlocks aren't useful. Warlocks have guns, and you need guns to shoot the enemy. They are in no way a detriment to the raid, they just don't have anything specific to offer either. However, somehow I feel that resurrection will be useful in the Hard raid, as it always has been.

Serious class dont mean shit in KF. I guess if you wanted to be "fireteam helpful" then run radiance with Song to help with cooldowns. Or run stormcaller for adds and orb generation. You dont even need to use supers in the raid and all it does is speed it up with damage etc. Was probably just a shit group relying on Celestial, tether, weapons to beat shit.

Its not a useful class for kings fall raid except during certain parts and it can be done without them easily. But it doesn't matter what class you have honestly. My main is always changing but currently is my hunter, I'm sure people wont mind during hard mode because you always have that crutch then in case you do die. Don't sweat it warlocks self res is always going to be useful.

Wow that is stupid storm caller is great for adds and making orbs. Reminded me of this one guy who joined our party at sisters and told all the Hunters to switch to blade dancer for adds.... The idiots you run into..

Any class is good for any activity if ppl play better with certain classes thats on them not other ppl. In my opinion its best to have a mixed team of all 3 classe.

When hard mode rolls around warlocks will be a must-be for most groups. Having gaze holder, relic runner, or add control during Oryx have 2 lives will be extremely useful. Not because they plan on dying, just in case they make a mistake or something goes wrong.

1 ReplyI've encountered folks who looked and spoke down to me for not having a particular light level or weapon. While it isn't a pleasant feeling being judged period, I would tell those with the elitist attitude to chill; then I'd excuse myself because I'd rather not hear constant ridicule. Finding those who don't mind sharing their knowledge and experience (when they aren't trying to rush through raids) can be a challenge in itself. I'm on the 360 and have 2 other capable leveled friends to explore the raid and learn the encounters if you wish you join us. We don't schedule the raid regularly but with three others; we just might if you are interested in this. Ignore Elitists, they'll drain your time and energy just as assuredly as they drained their own with their attitudes.
