PlayStation didn't win anything last time I checked.
-
Units sold. Check it.
-
So they sold more units but what did they win?
-
More money...don't get me wrong it's all preferential.
-
The competition to sell more units.....
-
But he said they won so I was wondering what they won. Was there an award for selling more units? I mean sure you can sell twice as many units as an Xbox but you only have half as many games. PlayStation only had one good game this year, bloodborne? Bloodborne only sold 1 million copies to date. For a system with 25 million users not too many bought "the most amazing ps4 game ever". Halo 5 sold 6.6 million copies and that was in one week. I guess when I think of a system being the best I imagine the one that has the best games available not the one that sells the most units. Nintendo has sold what 100 million units to date so shouldn't they be the winners this generation if we are basing a system winning by total units sold that is.

Edited by Realsvi: 11/9/2015 6:57:46 AMLamo, halo 5 sold 5mil in one week? Where you pull those numbers from because last I checked ms said they won't be posting sales numbers for anything. -edit- And bloodborne has sold over 1mil in a week as it released March 24 leaving only a week to chart for the months npd, same as halo. Hop over to google next time instead of pulling numbers out of thin air.

Pretty simple. Divide 400 million by 60. Simple math.

Edited by Realsvi: 11/9/2015 1:19:56 PMLol. The 400mil isn't from game sales alone bud. It's everything that has to do with halo 5. Bundles (which for whatever reason aren't considered when counting sale numbers), expensive ass specialized controllers, that Lego set, other toys, etc. No ones saying halo won't sell that much eventually, but that much in a week? No, halos no gta man. We won't know it's sales numbers until ms gives them out which isn't happening since they said they won't be giving those out anymore.

Nintendo barely sold anything near the Xbox one and PlayStation 4 this generation so I'm not sure what your on about. 'Winning' is not the right term sorry. PlayStation is more 'successful' then Xbox in recent years (after both new consoles release). Let's put aside the console exclusives, but due to the fact that there are more PlayStation 4's active out there than Xbox ones means that PlayStation can sell more third party games than Xbox can, generating more revenue for Sony.
