Almost EVERY game has some kind of micro-transaction like this. As they've said it won't impact the gameplay in any way, so if you don't like it then don't buy it, it's a pretty simple concept really.

' I want a ton of cool emotes for free' These cost Bungie to design and develop so why shouldn't we pay a small fee for them if we want them. At least it's an option now. I come from a generation where the game you bought waste he finished product end of. Most of us would agree we have had our monies worth from destiny and each of the DLCs. I'll be buying some. Especially for the hunter. Don't like the sprinkler. The Titan and the warlock ones are cool so far
