If it's pay for power then give them hell. If it's cosmetic then just go about your day. I don't have a problem paying £2 for a emote every now and then. If it's something obsurd like £5-10 then I won't buy them and nothing will have changed. Don't get worked up about something that isn't going to effect the game. You either want them or you don't .. Simples.
