Sleeper Simulant: what are we missing?
So at this point, thanks to the redit post, we pretty much know what the sleeper quest involves. But we're missing something. After handing in the fusion rifles we are supposed to trigger banshees memory yet all he does is tell us something about music. What are we missing guardians? Do we need to find another relic that is at this "music" place or is it something else entirely???

1 ReplyGjallarhorn is a Norse horn used in connection with voluspa. Which is in description of the relics. Possibly handing in both relics with ghorn equipped could trigger the memory. Interesting thoughts: my Gjallarhorn is maxed out yet the companion app does not say it's maxed out Bungie did not make a year 2 version of ghorn because it was god like for year one. It also would mean less people would have it equipped if doing year 2 content

1 ReplyI'm guessing initiating the quest is something simple but once started, will be an extremely difficult process. I love all the lore and clues we found or think are related to finding this gun. I don't feel the need for people to be upset about it not being easy or believing it's not in the game. It's seriously not even been a month since launch. Once someone figures it out everyone will have it. What we are missing, to answer your original question, is a fresh perspective as I think we have created too much noise and distraction.

6 RepliesClearly, it's the perfectly obvious: higher Gunsmith rank. People can only be so high at this point (max possible is rank 5 as of this post, I believe)

The more I hear about this, the more afraid I become that it's just gonna be something totally stupid like Rank 10 Gunsmith or something. I sincerely hope otherwise, but I can't help it. Everything else is perfectly set up for, upon reaching Rank 10, him just being like "OH YEAH BTW I got this thing that does this other thing, blah blah blah, yada yada yada one Sleeper Simulant here ya go!"

Banshee will sell the last relic for the quest on 11-10-15. It's stated somewhere (I forget where) that the relics can drop randomly in the world or be sold by Banshee.
