Sleeper Simulant quest Rank 7 with Banshee or it isn't in the game.
Ok I've pretty much given up the search for SS, I've poured so many hours in to missions/patrols and come up empty. I bet once we can hit Rank 7 with Banshee and collected the fusions a quest will pop for it. If not Bungie hasn't added it to the game. It has to be something to do with gunsmith rank, all the people that are looking for it and no one has found it....... little crazy right?
There are millions of players (I guess) and not one person has found it? So that means it's gated behind something (rank) or it just isn't obtainable yet.
Just to throw this out there I think the Archives have something. Ok so I'm thinking Rank 7 with Gun smith and get a quest, maybe The Archives mission will pop for daily, ghost says some stuff about Golden Age relics on that mission. Then after that, You'll need to defend a Warsat on Earth(terra), Moon(luna), and Mars for pass codes and then one more mission to unlock it.

You know, it's sad how some people are acting. Bungie wants this to be a community effort, you know "work together to figure things out". Some of you want it, but don't want to really but effort into it, you'll just happily wait for others to find it and post it on Reddit or youtube and reap your "hard earned" reward. So don't criticize me for posting what I think or believe is the answer. A lot of players are putting a lot of time into finding this weapon.

EDIT Knew it! Wasn't even in the game. Woke up this morning and so did thousands of others with the fire Wall quest waiting.

It isn't in the game yet. There item but mostly for place holder. In the exotic Weapon kiosk there only 5 exotic heavy. One for thunderlord one for truth and one for each sword

If it's rank 7 then anyone can get it. I think it's much more complicated than it already is compared to a rank that everyone can grind to

2 RepliesGameInformer has an article about it. It doesn't say much but, it does say you have to find the relics throughout Destiny's locations to start it. We need to stop searching just one area or planet and search all of them. Maybe Mars has a clue. The Psions were looking for Rasputin in the Dust Palace strike.
