How do you even get the 1000 yard stare, I've been dying to get it

They made me choose shotgun and fusion instead. Had to buy the vendor version.

Thats a different step. I got the sniper twice, dismantled the aecond, decided to try sidearm for third time. Im pretty sure everyone gets these same rewards (correct me if im wrong tho!)
