Wow over 1200 replies, thanks guys
Having read most of the responses :
Some would without hesitation which I agree with. At the end of the day its a video game and if you have someone willing to give you real money which you can spend on more important things then it's a no brainer.
To the people saying no that would mean it's about $1 an hour my response to that is..... Its a video game. You cannot compare a real job to the time you spend on a video game it's not even close to being the same. Saying I earn $1000 a day/week/month etc doesn't mean you should get paid the same for putting time into a video game.
The original post was with the idea of someone giving you $1000 to shut down your destiny account and never play it again so you would not be able to simply delete the account then restart and get to the same light level 2 weeks later. It would mean packing in destiny and not playing it in the future.

Yes, money up front though.

No -blam!- that

Is the pope catholic?
-
If you delete all characters, so your account is effectively empty, does your vault remain intact?
-
Yep, I'll just buy fallout 4, battlefront, and black ops 3. Still have enough to put into a savings account to build up interest
-
£1000 yes I would..$1000 nah, I can't be bothered with changing and would lose more with the exchange rate.
-
-
Hell ya....$250 and I would

lol. ha - hahahahahaha. No.

Edited by wrightflyer_1903: 10/5/2015 11:01:30 AMEasily! It's only a game - given the way things move since TTK I reckon you could be back to three level 40's in under a week with just a few hours each day. Sure they might only get to light=250 or something in that time but give it a week or two more and they'd be back to 280/290's or more. $1000 for 3 weeks part-time work sounds like pretty good money to me ;-) Given that we all effectively just "started from scratch" on Sept 15th and there's loads of 310's floating around now it's not like anyone has a lot invested in it. I know people will say "yeah but I played 2,000+ hours in year one" - but for what? Apart from starting TTK with three 34's what else did your 2,000 hours really bring to year 2? A bunch of almost pointless exotics and a whole heap of entirely pointless legendaries. I suppose what the 2,000+ actually got you was experience and learning the maps. But you still have that if you wipe the characters and restart ;-) Where do I apply for my $1,000 ?
-
Yes. Lol
-
-
Yup cuz then I'd get a PC and leave consoles.
-
I would in a heartbeat. Then, I would immediately pre-order a copy of Star Wars Battlefront and eagerly wait.
-
Yes I would because 1000 dollars for something I did when I was bored is sweeeeeet.
-
No. Because that's not much in £. But for £1000 I would.
-
-
H3ll no
-
why not , destiny characters arent worth anything , after each DLC everyone starts fresh as old stuff gets obsolete
-
Yes !
-
-
Cash first. Then we'll talk.
-
Do I get $2000 for deleting both XB1 and PS4 accounts?
-
-
Yes of course. I've Been a d1 player and quit Destiny when ttk dropped because of bungie policy to shit on my counteless hour of grinding and shit on the money I spent on all the dlc asking 40$ for more content while new noob players get a better game for less. 1000$ would be less than a dollar per hour of my life wasted on this shitty game!
-
Yes. Because starting anew character is easy. All the stuff i collected year one is useless. If I had to grind all year one stuff. Maybe not.
