  • Tbh the more i use HoS the more i think the armor should be notched down, everything else is fine, prob make it have the same armor as storm caller or arc blade had while super was active, because the armor and that perk when you get a kill with fire regents health is too much to handle, but nova bomb and FoH still 1 shot it :/

    • I'm in the middle. It's not extremely op, I just think the armor should be reduced just a tiiiiiny bit so that gg always kill. Everything else is fine.

        I play Destiny daily and am a year one player dedicated to Destiny and Destiny only. My main is my titan and any game I join I feel like I'm lagging for others cause they just cant ever kill me when my super is up. Rarely do I not win in rumble. I'd suggest dropping the explosion radius slightly or lowering the recharge rate for the cauterize perk. I regain health pretty much instantly. A gunslinger has to shoot me twice to even kill me. I hope this gets lowered before iron banner otherwise control is going to be a hammer fest...hopefully DeeJ see's this.

      • I just recently got Hammer of Sol, and as a hunter main I can say that it's an amazing class and a blast to use, but it isn't OP. Outside of the super it's a subpar melee and a decent nade, as almost all the passives are to do with the super (unless you go for that whole sunspot build, but I've yet to try that). The super is probably one of the best in the game however, and if it's damage reduction got reduced to the amount as the other classes I think things would be fairly balanced. [spoiler]jk I'm a hunter and Sunbreaker should be nerfed to the ground [/spoiler] [spoiler]that was a joke, don't h8[/spoiler]

        • Basically hammer of sol takes all the best things from sunsinger and golden gun , combines it into one and calls it a ballanced super... If you thought crucible was a joke before due to supers... Well, welcome to the special Olympics. Personally I couldn't care less. Destiny pvp is fun, but with all the Lagg going on I can never take crucible seriously.

          • It's not guaranteed kills. I've managed to evade hammers or put down a Titan while he's slinging hammers. When I play as a Titan, sometimes I get multiple kills, sometimes I only get one. I've started my super only to get shut down by golden gun. Since I have all three characters I can see strengths and weaknesses in all of them. I sense the "nerf this or that super" is posted by players who never play as that character.

            • the fact that and ability kill can regen health change that to super kills and lower super health hunters shouldn't have to use nighthawk to stop titan and their hammer shannanagins

              The Super makes up for the rest of subclass' need to do something when out-of-Super. It's complicated.

            • I am a Titan and the only OP thing about it arr the shields. Shields need a slight reduction like 25%. But for those of you that complain tracking is OP. The HoS tracking perk barely tracks you. It does like a miniscule curve towards the target but thats about it.

                I think the armour should stay. Titan's are meant to withstand damage and that extra armour cements them as the "defenders of the city" but that doesn't mean they're off the hook. The splash damage from those hammers are the real killer here. They're too big and with tracking hammers, your entire team gets destroyed. It's like they're roaming around with rocket launchers

                  I think it's fine. If it gets nerfed at all, it should be countered by giving some other buffed perks, as the class doesn't have much else too it. Compare to say the hunter new one, where the super is rather weak in PVP, but you do get things like a second grenade with the smoke bomb, and keen scout is awesome too.

                    Because hunters can shut it down with shadowshot and yet they still don't realize tha This makes it not op. They just don't use game mechanics to their advantage

                          • It is a little op. Been using the Titan exclusively since June because I love it. I'm not even sure if I want to use the sun breaker much anymore. There's just too much cheese in it for my liking. Armor while in super should be reduced and the number of hammers should be reduced by 1 or 2.
