What is the current maximum calcified fragments you can collect? I currently have 46 and I think that is the maximum currently found but I'm not sure.

50 is all of them on the Dreadnaught. You can see the total as a fraction when looking at the Dreadnaught in-game. I'm on Xbox One and not sure if the position varies, but for me it's in the right-hand corner - just down from The Sunless Cell strike.
