This is by far my least favorite quest, I'm literally getting a hernia trying to get this done. Does anyone have any tips?? I just want to get this done as soon as possible

1 ReplyEdited by Molten23FD: 10/5/2015 2:17:40 PMMy buddy and me just ran around with hilts takes two hits to kill, grab heavy when available and go on streaks. You will die a lot but will get it done in 2 or 3 matches. Edit I don't do crucible often
-
I did it in two games for the arc sword. It works best on the smaller tight corner maps. Load up & let them come to you around corners or crouch at corners & watch the radar, I got 4 in a row by doing that.
-
I thought it was going to suck but i did it pretty quickly. Mayhem was good for me. Get a heavy then stick to close quarters sections of a map. Use your radar and 3rd person view to help locate your victims. Then hack away. I got a 10 kill streak doing this. But small maps are key. They larger open maps will be more of a challenge to get the kills. Don't give up!

Mayhem nuff said ;)

Edited by ilion: 10/5/2015 2:16:39 PMThe sword is a beast in PvP. You're probably trying to play it like PvE and that why you're not to successful. Use your radar and steak up on your enemies. Hide behind corners and pop out on people. Don't just run out in the open, you can't shot back so you need to stay hidden a bit. And if you are out in the open don't forget that you can block with the sword.

Use a handcannon, shoot him once, then switch to sword and finish him off. Its very hard but is doable
-
Mayhem. Got it in a handful of games.
-
Try this: Go to Rumble and pull out your sword. Run around and try to get behind people. Be ready to get pawned but you will get 4-6 kills a round. If you can take two friends your odds greatly increase. If you get REALY lucky someone else will be doing the same. I do not EVER play PvP and it worked for me
-
Play Mayhem and hide behind corners. Took me about 3 games to get 19. Tried control before and only got 6 in 3 games
-
Heres some tips. - control (plenty of scrubs) - hang around cap points to pick off wounded targets - be a hunter. If you're using the hilt every advantage helps, that means invis/smoke grenades - grenade > sword combo
-
I disagree, it's really easy to get sword kills if you play it right
-
With the introduction of swords in TTK they should have made a sword only game mode
-
Mayhem
-
Here is how I did on my warlock... First I went sunsinger and went with the perk at allows me to take more damage while it is up. Secondly I did mayhem mode because heavy ammo drops more frequently. I would wait a few minutes for the other team to use up their rockets, pop my super and start trying to get some kills. Took about 6-7 matches
-
Play rift, no one pays attention to anything but the spark usually, so sneak behind them and go for their snipers. Kills without ammo count, so no need to wait for heavy to drop.
-
1 Reply1. Fireteam of three. 2. Play Rumble. 3. Profit.
-
4 Replies5 friends + rumble - ABUSE THE SYSTEM
-
2 RepliesGo into control Get heavy ammo Profit
-
Just have to be sneaky. Hide around corners, use the guard function.
-
I don't do well at crucible but I actually enjoyed bashing some skulls! It's important not to worry about things like k/d whilst doing this.
-
Use block. It confuses people.
-
club people with the hilt i did that for all 25 kills on my warlock lol took like an hour and a half
-
Mayhem.
-
For the next sword quests make sure you send them to that character so you can bypass the crucible kills lol

Edited by SoltysOmega: 10/5/2015 12:25:33 PMCamp corners and stay in close quarters areas. Draw your enemies in to you, if you rush your dead. If you have to throw up your shield to close the gap with your opponent then your wasting ammo. You should only use your shield if your backing out of a tough spot, or your playing a little support for your team laying down fire from behind you.
on a side note, there should be a medal for deflecting X amount of damage with the sword.. Imo
