I've got this problem but it only happened recently. I'm level 40 and I've chatted to everyone in the Tower to find out what the deal is but it just won't go away!

I happen to have a suspicion that there are quests at the tower that nobody has unlocked yet, or that you haven't unlocked yet. (i.e. Alliances up to level 25 exotic armor/cloaks, Gunsmith rank weapon, etc.)

It would be nice to have the symbol only if there is anew quest only
