Increasing Light levels?
Hey guys,
I'm a bit late with all this and still getting oriented with the Destiny light/armor system.
Just beat campaign TTK, and reached level 40.
Any suggestions on what to do next in order to increase my light, so I can eventually do a Raid.

First, check your quest log. Many quests offer Legendary Marks, weapons and armor as rewards. That's a good start. Play the Daily Crucible match. Win or lose, that's 15 Legendary Marks. Save enough Marks and you can buy gear from the Tower vendors. That stuff all carries a Light level of 280. At 240, you can start running the Daily Heroic mission for more Marks and at 260, the Heroic Strike playlist. That's when the gear REALLY opens up. You'll find a ton of Engrams and be at 290 or so in no time.
