Is there a place where you can see the entire Halo community rank on a scale like the one when you are in Matchmaking lobby. I want to know because i was telling my friend that the average halo 3 rank in about a Colonel just because i see them so often and they are so wide in playstyle, some are hard core some are casual. Some are decent others are terrible. I just want to see if im right or wrong from facts.
Posted by: R3ACTlON average doesnt tell much though..................
not saying it does, i know some people have a strict diet of social, and many of the 50's belong to the same people. I just want to see how it is. [Edited on 06.17.2009 9:00 PM PDT]

between 30-40 skill level

Ok then here: The Average Rank in Halo 3 is a Recruit-General Grade 4, and the Average Level in Halo 3 is a level 1-50. Sorry I'm no help! Lol.

35-45

The matchmaking finder matches you with people with similar Highest Skill as you, Generally, not just the playlist rank. The average rank would probably be between the private and gunn. Sergeant rank because thats where most people cutoff whether or not to continue playing on a regular basis. *The Above Comments are not proven fact, just Generalizations based on experience*

average highest skill is 46
Posted by: BIack T Shirt I would say check... No I am going to say... "Check out Halocharts.com" Then search around that website to find the average skill level. P.S. I would post a link to the exact page but for some reason I can't access Halocharts.com right now. Last time I tried it, it froze my computer :'(
halo charts is extremely top heavy because lower ranks have no reason to sign up and dont sign up. Mostly people who are a highrank or have a high stat(like plasma pistol kill) sign up.You would just be finding the average of people on halo charts not the average of Halo 3.

Report "superfuntime" (2 up from this post) for posting naughty pics that are disturbing!

I would say a 41 is the average rank
-
I remember hearing somewhere that the average highest skill was around 22. Of course, it seems the lowest rank I play is Colonels, but for everyone playing Halo 3, 22 seems like an appropriate average.

Bungie should make a chart under online stats, not a leader board but a graph, just so you can see where you are and compare your self and others as a whole.

The amount you see doesn't compromise with everybody else.
Posted by: ElementNineteen That's an interesting point. On my account it's seems as if everyone is 40+, but if I play as someone's guests.. well, it's just different. But yeah, there's no official way (as of now) to see the legit spread of ranks. There are websites that come close, but because higher skilled players 45+ are the ones that want to be on the charts, they're the majority of the site.
yeah i know. Halo charts and sites like those only represent the people who sign up and lower ranks tend to not care enough to sign up. I told him i thought 40 because i see that people no matter good or bad if they play a good amount of ranked(1000+ games) they reach 40 just because of how the trueskill works. I told him that since i've been though the ranking system multiple time(multiple accounts) i think i wouldn't be set on what i see on my main accounts rank but on it from multiple players eyes (from each account).
Posted by: CONTINUUM7 yeah you can't really tell, i would say the most common rank is brig but that is becasue that is all i see are brigs and 50's b/c I am a 48 I bet if i was a lower rank i would say all i see are majors and commanders, I'm not sure what the most common rank is . . .
Again, I'm almost entirely sure that the majority of Halo 3 players are really low in skill. If you look at the gametype-specific graphs, you can see that it's always a downward trend. EDIT: Not always a downward trend. Sorry about that. Ugh. Haha... [Edited on 06.17.2009 7:34 PM PDT]

hit x on matchmaking and go to closest skill the average is in the mid 30s

this is what my friend was saying, each person thinks the average rank is something different according to their rank. Since that is the most often thing they see, just like how each one of you said something else that's why i would like to see facts.
-
I believe its Lieutenants. Most people seem to be around that in Social Games.
-
You're close but not quite, the most common rank is: Major, followed by captain.
-
If you're looking to see overall rank in a specific gametype, go to that gametype in matchmaking, and hit X. Doing so will bring up a graph of the trueskill spread for that gametype only. EDIT: Oh, you know how to do this.. Eh. Okay. Haha.. Otherwise, there isn't a place where you can see everyone's rank at all. While there are some sites that might show the skills of players that have signed up, this is not all Halo 3 players. According to the system, average skill is technically 25... but most people are down in the 6 range I believe. Again, it depends on the gametype. [Edited on 06.17.2009 7:21 PM PDT]
